Oh yeah! WTF was up with Sawyer's white boxer shorts?! It looked like he shit himself...and that was before MIB came to visit him.

See I went back and watched the whole episode again and to me it's pretty clear that MIB sees the boy and then the boy disappears before Richard turns around. It happens pretty quick. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it played out as I just wrote seconds ago. Also, I had a good laugh at the nicknames being given to Locke & Claire. Locke = Locke Ness Monster Claire = Clousseau

Some big things that I noticed in this episode that put things into perspective and then had me question things.

Wow, tonight's episode was simply stunning and amazing. I'm still letting it sit in my mind. I'll probably watch it a 2nd time in a little bit. Anyways, here is something that I got at Lostpedia re:

Well, it's time to stick up for one of my favorite movies of all time...again. LOL. I usually hear the same 2 complaints regarding The Thin Red Line: 1. There's no story...it goes all over the place. 2. People get really upset when someone like Travolta is on screen for like 2 minutes. They often wonder what the point is of having all of these famous actors in this one film. 3. I can't tell who is narrating. 1st off: the movie's tagline was "Every Man Fights His Own War" which is exactly what this film is about. This is why points of view and characters weave in and out of the film witho

I completely agree with Scorsese's #2 choice for the 90s: The Thin Red Line.

Wait a minute? Wait a minute! Are you confusing Kubrick with Martin Scorsese? Marty directed all 3 films that you mentioned above. And it was Bringing Out The Dead, btw. Edit: I'm still not sure where you found those Beltmann quotes, since they are listed as 4:55p.m. & it's only 2:27p.m. Nevermind, I did see The Color Of Money comment.

You can hear it on that 2/10 boot on bt tree. It sounds pretty good and fun.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV5hEBqYfTE It also has Shia The Beef's main squeeze Carey Mulligan. The trailer looks great, I think. I saw it before Edge Of Darkness and it gave me chills, especially the beginning.

Also, this year we're getting sequels to 2 very different 80s movies. Wall Street: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS (LOL) & Tron: Legacy. I can understand the rush to get Wall Street out there with the economic collapse in 08, but Tron was more of a shock until I saw the preview and crapped my pants. It's going to be the best 3D movie, I think. They really need to trot out the original Tron to get (younger) people into that specific world.

Yes. It will happen when "the time is right" according to Linklater and Hawke. All 3 of them are up for it and it should happen this decade, considering the past 2 movies' release dates. Off topic: But does anyone know that Linklater is working on a top secret project that he's shooting a little bit of each year with a child actor? It's going to show that child age one year. It's going to have Ethan Hawke & Patricia Arquette. They have been shooting since 2001 and ending in 2013. P.S. Suburbia needs a DVD release.

To add some more meat to the And vs. & question. The above came from Wiki and this is coming from my experience. I love the film High Fidelity and I followed the development of that film early on. Peter Travers, in his review for Rolling Stone, wrote, "It hits all the laugh bases, from grins to guffaws. Cusack and his Chicago friends — D.V. DeVincentis and Steve Pink — have rewritten Scott Rosenberg's script to catch Hornby's spirit without losing the sick comic twists they gave 1997's Grosse Pointe Blank." They are credited as followed: Screenplay by: D.V. DeVincentis & Steve Pink

The WGAE and WGAw both resolutely reject the auteur theory—that only the director is the "author" of a film—so a "production executive" (a producer or director) who claims credit must meet a higher standard than others to receive credit. An original writer must contribute at least one-third of the final screenplay to receive credit. Subsequent writers who work as script doctors must contribute more than half of the final screenplay to receive credit. A production executive who works on a script must contribute at least half the final product to receive credit (WGA Screen Credits Manual, sectio

I disagree with you on this. This, I thInk, was one of the funniest Coen Bros. movies in a long time. It had me laughing almost every scene and I am not even Jewish. But I loved the build up of dialog "noise" in a lot of scenes that the main character had to deal with. There were many great bits, including the Columbia Records telemarketer. It's deserving of a Best Picture nomination, I think. Valentine's Day - Kind of exactly what I expected it to be and then some. Left my cynicism at the door and enjoyed the parade of movie stars. I was surprised by how touched I was by Ashton Kutcher's st

Some interesting ideas presented by the old D.C. Comics' character Hawkman. I knew of the character and what he looks like, but not of the following which eerily parallels Lost's Jacob & MIB. This is about Hawkman's nemesis. The cruel Egyptian priest Hath-Set first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (January 1940). He murdered Prince Khufu and Princess Chay-Ara with a cursed dagger forged from Nth Metal, resulting in a cycle of reincarnations for all three of them together. Over the centuries, he has been responsible for the couple's murder in many different incarnations, and during the World

It's the theme to Jack "something"''s Stargazing show taken from some quasi-classical artist. The guy who would come on at 1a.m. on your local PBS affiliate and tell you to "Remember to keep looking up". I used to watch this when I was a teen when SNL would finish up. It was kind of creepy. Here's a video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JEMWN8SKJg That song is in the opening credits.

Pretty sure late Summer/Fall 04 tour & Chicago Thanksgiving 2006. And, of course the Night 1 Residency. I feel like that's about it. 75% of my bootlegs have them doing the "harmonica-solo-ish" version.

I was about to give this as a gift to my cousin's 4 year old son and I loved the "bite-sized" paragraphs regarding each president. Hopefully, he doesn't color over the text.
