"If you can't make one of the shows, you can hear a stream of the band's Jazzfest performance this Saturday at Rollingstone.com. More info here." - taken from the new Wilco HQ email. I've been reading about this since last Friday and I am not sure how they plan on doing this. Rolling Stone shows that their broadcast begins at 6p.m. CST Saturday and Sunday and there's a big list of acts that have already played. From the way the list looks it looks like you won't see/hear WIlco into the wee hours of the night on Sunday morning. Unless if the plan is to just play a few songs from each act. Sti

Don't forget to get your setlists from Daniel Johnson's WIlco Examiner.... :ninja

Does "sit or stand" concert logic apply to really tall people as well? This guy towers over Superman. I think if he were to buy a ticket to Wilco, he should be forced to sit all the way in the back. Concurrently, fans over the world should create a "slush" fund for his pair of prescription glasses from having shitty concert/film seats his whole life. Food for thought. Edit: Also, if that is a picture of Sergio I can understand Alabamans throwing items at him.

Are you using this word with the Caveman meaning or Hermits or those humanoid monsters from Dungeons & Dragons? I guess all 3 can apply here.

Eureka!!!! I got it. Pampas = pampers. As if to say all Wilco fans are old and need changing. I first thought it was pampered. Like Tweedy was pampering them by not condemning them to sit while he mercilessly rocked out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVcD5NoNoFM Who can help out rewriting this song for this unique "possibly fake" situation?

So I was cleaning out my room last night and came across this old issue of Rolling Stone.... This may help explain a few things.

Just got my Entertainment Weekly in the mail and there was a picture of a certain someone from a beloved show that ended last May who has a big part in Community's 2 part Season 2 Finale: a sequel to Paint Ball. He looks "bonkers". {not really sure how I feel about such a creative show going back to an idea that seemed novel the first time, but hey it looks like they are upping the ante on this one.} FYI: Comcast subscribers take note that FOX and ABC have finally let their shows be uploaded to their On Demand Programming. I'm not sure about Hulu yet, but for Comcast it's kind of weird. You

$10 on DeAngelo Vickers being the Scranton Strangler. A very nice episode of The Office. That show for me now is more about the moments shared between the characters.

Kanye, is that you?

How odd and creepy? I literally just finished the episode of which you speak of. I know that I'm a month behind on my Thursday Night NBC sitcoms, but maybe I'm doing that on purpose. We actually have spoken about Community in The Office thread and a thread which I started last September about the new Fall TV program schedule. Anyways, it's the best comedy on tv hands down. Every episode is memorable and easy to recall, since they can be very differently done.

VC Before & After every Wilco album is released. And that is ok.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm2MFQDITLs&feature=feedu Extremely cool for a couple of reasons. 1. ESPN has a national ad that features the Nashua Garden which is about 5 minutes from where I live. Best sandwiches around. They get fresh braided rolls from the North End in Boston every morning. Yes, there are sandwiches named after Boston sports legends. (just saw it now at 2.a.m. and shocked) 2. It features an actor (the meat cutter) who was in our short film back at Fitchburg State College in 2005. I recognized his voice and did a double take while looking up some MLB scores while watc

Based off of song titles that we know: 1. Black Moon (I'm dying to see a whoopie pie for album cover art.) 2. Art Of Almost (very Talking Heads sounding) 3. Born Alone (may get too confusing for some who know A Ghost Is Born.)

I think Song For Jane Smiley's Boyfriend is really going to divide this place into two separate factions: one who relishes 10 verses and the other who wants more whistling (a la The Ruling Class). Tweedy, I don't have 14 minutes to listen to a song. I think 11 minutes (Spiders) is enough, don't you? How can I come here and post? And I can't even listen to the song if I go grocery shopping because that's right down the street which means that you owe me gas money when I stay in my car to finish your art. {house band plays}

I'm pretty sure it will be titled Get Well Soon Everybody a.k.a VC Carm Down!

(sets stop watch to September) Both articles have me happy with excitement and I'm also expecting them to let loose some of the new songs this coming week on their mini tour.

:blink :blink Not equals, but direct opposites of each other. Enemies dating back a lot longer than we all expected.

WOW! I wasn't expecting Tweedy to drop song descriptions on us. I had to run when this thread started and I saw the blurb and thought ok there's probably one more blurb and that's it. Hmm. I am extremely excited now for Solid Sound and September though I don't want to rush into either. I love every song description already. I wonder if he was giving out a shout out to VC regarding the "meh" comment.

Explicit Version Link (22 minutes) The Music Video (actually, I prefer to call it a short film) Event Of The Year!!! Well, this was a breath of fresh air and a HUGE surprise of how fun and funny this was. The number of cameos was very high and the concept was well thought out and quite brilliant and well executed. If you know the Beastie Boys videos, then you should catch a lot of references. A HUGE smile on my face throughout the whole thing. I sent a mass text to my fellow Beastie Boys friends and I hope they check it out or better yet meet up and watch it together. Plus, the tale

Did anyone catch their live streaming set from Coachella on Sunday night? I'm hoping that it turns up again at either youtube or somewhere else.

I noticed this when looking through my channel guide for Palladia: Fight For Your Right Revisited Premiere Tonight At Midnight

Strange. I have no current recollection of this guy and I'm one of the few people to mention him in that thread for the Portland, Maine show in 2006. I remember him now. Very odd act.
