I so agree with you about schmilco...my husband & i were agreeing last night about how well it hangs together as an album, and how it wants to be heard as a whole. Everything fits, and the sequencing is perfect! New little Wilco fans everywhere! Congratulations!!! You get some sleep too. I remember how tempting it can be to want to watch the adorable new baby sleep, but seriously, that's your chance to sneak in a catnap! Do it!

I haven't commented yet on the album, because I've been too busy being just gobsmacked by the thing. I'll pay it the highest compliment I can....it is a worthy addition to the Wilco canon. This album has such depth and maturity to it, but by maturity I mean nothing in the direction of that goddawful "dad rock" label. I mean maturity in the sense that when an artist (artists) have really hit their stride, and found a place in their artistic career where they've learned to kind of get out of the way and let their creativity flow without interference, you get some of the very best that any form o

The short answer is post count. As you post more, you will acquire more pips (those little dots beneath your avatar) and at certain post counts you will upgrade to a new title. See? A rich bubble-gum pink. I guess mine is the darker pink, but it's not at all neon hot-pink in color. It did photograph a bit darker than it really is. You must be right about the Rough Trade lighter pink then.

I'd have to get the lighting right, but I'll give it a shot. Maybe it'll look more like one of the two in the photo, when it's photographed.

I got a pink one through Bull Moose, and it doesn't really look like either of those pinks....I thought at first I had the lighter pink one, but I just now pulled it out and it seems halfway between the two pinks. But darker, so maybe the brighter pink? In the photo, the darker pink looks like kind of a neon "hot pink", which mine definitely isn't. It's more of a true bubblegum pink, moderately dark. Maybe the colors don't show true in the photo. Either that or maybe I have a rare one-of-a-kind!
