Loved that interview!

Again, is it any wonder we love this band??!!! Any band with a Tweedy or two in it ??!!! Congratulations!

Really! That isn't an animal I think of when I think of Africa! Edit: and now you've made me do a bit of research. They don't even really resemble bison, but I guess that was the closet comparison European settlers could make when bison were first encountered here. Or maybe the comparison was to Asian water buffalo, a bit closer to Europe? I'm going to try to refer to the American critter as bison, but I think the term buffalo is here to stay, regardless of being incorrect. I'll bet you a bison nickle.

Mine has arrived too. Linclink, I got both the cd and album and from the fast skim I've done (all I've had time for so far on this busy day) the two seem to contain exactly the same notes and pictures. Nice having the photos in larger form on the album. The picture of Jeff & Sue is so sweet! And the colored vinyl is gorgeous.

Sounded like you all had a terrific time! Thanks for delivering that hug.
-
Where are there actual buffalo then? I ask you because I am too lazy to look this up and I know Via Chicago is a reliable source of factual answers.
-
You lucky, lucky man! Have an incredible time, and give Diane a hug from me.

Lucky you, twosheds! Now I'm really anxious for mine. Will be meeting my mail carrier at the door on Monday, but hopefully not acting like this woman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJye229QbVs "Just gimme my music! Unless you're speaking Sukierae into my hands, I don't wanna hear it!!!"

I dunno, Moss, my sister brews some incredible beer, worth her effort. I'm waiting to get to sample her latest dunkleweisen. Stay with it, Hixter. She learned by trial & error but was making excellent beer in pretty short order. Good luck!

Right in time for their 20 year anniversary! Thanks for everything across all these years, Wilco!

I liked Drop City but I know what you mean on that one. Talk Talk is more straight-ahead story. Actually I think I like almost all of Boyle's books better than I did Drop City. The Women, about Frank Lloyd Wright's women, was pretty great. But some insanity there. The Road to Wellville was very good too, but again, some insanity.
