  1. I HAD TICKETS BUT THEY DISAPPEARED WHEN THEY WENT TO MY CART
  2. Guess where Wilco is I have seen about half of these, and completely agree. My only exception would be that Muse get moved up a couple spots. But it's always nice seeing something I already knew comfirmed by a magazine intern. Any complaints/comments about this one?
  3. I knew I should have come back to Madison earlier in the day!
  4. After about a half hour, I ended up getting 2 front row cirlce tickets. So, first balcony....I guess I'll take it, but I KNOW there will be people behind me complaining that I'll be standing and dancing through the show....
  5. Did anyone here get tickets for Madison? I was quick off the draw and got locked out. Hopefully there are some goooooooood seats left for the rest of us.
  6. I'll see you there Mr. Teacherman! And through talking with the Twilight Sad at their show in Madison (phenominal btw), they confirmed they'd be opening some of the dates of this tour! I just hope Milwaukee's on that list....
  7. My feeling for the new album is that it will be pretty much devoid of the electroic feel of Kid A/Amnesiac. HTTT was putting rock and computers together. I think it works, others feel differently. The new album (I can't wait until we at least get a title), is going to be Radiohead's second masterpiece; it will be grandiose and full of lush orchestration. It won't be a rock opera, because they don't have the dramatic vein, a la Muse, but it will be classical rock. Of course there will be good guitar songs (Bangers for one), but the songs we will be doting over will be the ones peppered with str
  8. I bet Radiohead had that place on LOCKDOWN. Although I wouldn't mind hearing some early mixes. The HTTT early mixes were, in some cases, much different than the album's final mix. And what's with all this HTTT hate? While not their best album (Kid A), it certainly is a fine work that holds up after repeated listens. I can listen to it all the way through as easily as I listen to any other Radiohead album.
  9. OK, time for me to toot a type of horn that meteorologist students like to toot. I said 5 days ago, in a Decemberists forum, that it should be raining before/during the show. And I used my own models and calculations, because I'm a nerd like that and wanted to get a specific forecast for my outdoor concert. This is a proud day for me. [soapbox/] I'm going to be there, rain or shine. But if they reschedule it for the next day, or at some point on the weekend, there will be hell to pay!
  10. Born to Run is on there twice. Seems like they were lazy making this list, imo. OH! You could put it on there a third time with Arcade Fire's (Antichrist Television Blues)!
  11. Just booked my hotel. $65 a night and it's within walking distance to the venue. Let the countdown begin! I must say--I've lived in WI my whole life, and have never been to the north woods, nor seen Lake Superior. I'm expecting a fun drive up from Madison with a lot of beautiful scenery.
  12. Just saw this....I got excited when I saw Madison on there, but then FLIPPED OUT at the Overture Center as the venue. Totally psyched!
  13. To add a weird dimension to this thread, I'm actually going to be going to the NYC show. I really can't wait!
  14. I'm just waiting for the day where TWC uses "Either Way" for background music for the Local on the 8's. They've used Death Cab a few times in the past. And yes, I do watch TWC that much to know that.
  15. HUGE thanks! Any show that has Let's Not Get Carried Away is a must have. And I bet Jeff was extra pissed singing it after that drunken idiot interrupted the show.
  16. We got Theologians in Davenport. But if you mean Ashes and Theologians together, then yes.
  17. I wanted Green Gloves SO bad in Madison....I'm angry.
  18. ^^ I say blame it on the vodka...or I got really excited and confused the hell out of myself. But, being born in November, I declare Mr. November my personal theme song.
  19. Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) What a great cover!
  20. Gearing up for Mr. November Or Fake Empire...I'll take that
  21. I can't wait for the Aragon shows. About once a month during the school year, I need a break for a kick ass concert. This year I get two. I'm completely flabergasted that tix are $40+...that bothers me a little. But I expect to meet you two in line at some point during the weekend!
  22. I'm going to say What Light. That seems too obvious, it must be right.
  23. I'm PRAYING for a Minneapolis date. They seem to enjoy playing there, and they've conspicuously avioded it this go-round; but I don't think they'd swing up to MN and then go west
