  1. Your math is wrong. 27 is bigger than 7 no matter how you slice it.
  2. Glen is obviously an amazing musician. I'm trying to figure out why his hi-hat stand is so wobbly. Hi-hat stands tend to be among the sturdiest pieces of hardware on a drum kit, so it's weird that his sways all over the place.
  3. It's far easier to get to than the Cobb location will be. Cobb has no public transit and they have vowed not to build any to this stadium. Also, the new location is in the most congested part of the entire metro area. If this stadium is built, on game days it will likely become the most congested stretch of interstate in the country. The current stadium is served by MARTA (via either a shuttle bus or a ten minute walk), I-20, I-75/85, and numerous surface roads. It's also very close to "the world's busiest airport." The only thing "problematic" about the current location is that it's sur
  4. I predict the Turner Field deal wil fall through. Cobb residents have had NO say in this, and it has been rammed through as quickly as possible (anounced on Veteran's day...how classy), with a final vote during Thanksgiving week. Having said that, if it does go through I will laugh when it blows up in their faces, and it most definitely will.
  5. The Television show I saw last week in Athens, GA was phenomenal. There was some discussion on here a while back about Richard Lloyd no longer being in the band, and how it is no longer really Television without him. I disagree with that. Richard is certainly missed, but his replacement, Jimmy Rip, was incredible. Aside from it not being the "classic lineup" I don't know how their show could have been better. Their tour is probably over by now, but if it's not and you have the chance, go see them.
  6. This was a place with a stage, so yeah, probably so. I'd like to read his book.
  7. I might have mentioned this before, but I saw Noel Redding in a pub in Galway, Ireland once. I recognized him because this was not long after the PBS Rock and Roll series aired, and he had a fair amount of screen time in it. I wish I had offered to buy him a pint and told him how much I was inspired by the Experience.
  8. I won't be near a computer tomorrow, so I'll break my own rule and say that - - - Live! Tomorrow!: TELEVISION!
  9. Still more worthy of the title than that Old Testament fellow.

    Wilco Poll

Very rarely at home. I go out to eat a lot, though, so I hear their songs quite often.
  11. I run hot and cold on Springsteen, but I've always liked this album.
  12. Probably in the 11-20 range. I'd love to see more, but adult responsibilities, etc...
  13. Boobs War III wouldn't be a bad way to go. Mutually assured boobs.
  14. How many pedals did Syd barrett use? I'll bet it was three or less.
  15. Bring back the draft and put the people who play these games at the top of the list.
  16. ...by putting down the Strat and returning to the Gibson sound.
  17. C'mon man, he's black. Black boys can't whip their hair around.
  18. Left, but before we moved into our current house I was always on the right. Also, in hotels I'm almost always on the right, unless there are two beds and then I usualy get the one on the left. I have no idea why it plays out like this. A much more thought provoking thread than it would appear at first glance.
  19. Oh god, me too. The zine my friends and I made in high school is embarrassing enough, particularly my contributions, and at least a few copies of each issue are probably still floating around out there somewhere.
  20. LOL, I was about to post the same thing, but I couldn't remember her screen name.
  21. The mugs were made by Cate and they're sold out. They looked very nice. I only odered the LP. http://wichitarecordings.11spot.com/cate-le-bon-mug-museum-bundle-pre-order-11-12.html
  22. Did you preorder the bundle that comes with a homemade mug? My most anticipated is the new Hospitality record, but it's not out untl January 2014 and there's not a thread for next year yet.
