  1. I wonder if back in the day Motzart went on tour? Did he take request? Did he use a setlist? Did people ask him for autographs? Did people applaud and hoot and hollar during and after the songs?
  2. UGGH I WILL BE IN FLORENCE TWO WEEKS AFTER THEM!
  3. I saw Green Day back in 99 and 2000...just a few months ago an opportunity presented itself for me to see them in a tiny club and I went for it. So me and 1400 others packed in to see them at Webster Hall in NYC. I was very nastolgic. They sounded good and polished. Surely it is not the same band. Two times during the night they took request. One was for "80" from Kerplunk and the other was for "At The Library" from 1039 Solid request and Green Day just started playing them on the spot. The songs were rusty sounding and they were the highlights of the night! Even though I don't care too much f
  4. I was a licensed real estate agent in NY and NJ a few years ago. Having an agent can get you an extra few thousand in your sale prices as you will command greater foot traffic and exposure. They also have a sense on if your pricing is realistic in this market. If you overprice your unit you will fall through the cracks. I read somewhere that 50% of the total traffic comes in the first month of a listing. An educated agent will price you right and optomise your traffic and results. Also keep in mind all fees are negotiable. Offer your agent a lesser percent or tell them you will give them a b
  5. You going for the $100,000 package? I was thinking about that one too...trying to line up new financing for our house so the wife and I can afford to buy a pair!
  6. Well Wilco was not well receieved. I had a lawn area ticket and people were yelling for me to sit down. So I moved downowards the seats. In the seated section out of a few thousand maybe 5 were standing up. They played a great set though. I specifically remember Jeff yelling the Nothings with a disdained look at the crowd for their lack of enthusiasm. Feed of Man smoked at that show too! Anyhoo after Wilco was over I went over to the tour bus area. They were setting up for Natalie Merchant which I had no interest in seeing. At the tour bus area there was no secuirty. After the show maybe 4 or

  10. No Problem. Yeah 110% service fee! Live Nation and Ticketmaster never cease to amaze me! Still $10.50 is less than a movie in NYC!
  11. Meg is my musician crush
  12. Maybe they will play the Willis Tower?!
  13. Pull down the promotion after you click on buy for Subway...enter the code Subway$5tix and that is it! Bunch of other cool shows too! http://promo-img.livenation.com/lnus/subway/1515.html
  14. http://www.wmur.com/money/20057331/detail.html I guess you couldn't buy a diet coke and cigs for $3.63 here?!
  15. Yeah that would be fun! I have a fun idea...Wilco should do 2 night stands at every location they visit. One night will be dubbed the "Hits" night and the other will be "Hardcore" night for the hardcore fans...Wishful Thinking I suppose
  16. I guess I can see what you are saying (Though still not sure what is so bad of REM post 1987?) because I also have not liked the last 3 or so U2 Albums..I could however combine the last 3 U2 albums into 1 great album!
  17. If you believe this why did you then give 10 albums after LRP a chance and how come you have seen them since? Why give them the chance if you believe that? Something must have kept you coming back? Just curious
  18. They already made there money before that point so I am not sure your point makes sense. When they signed on to Warner Brothers they got an $80 Mil 5 album deal.
  19. Be prepaired to spend $13 for a Sandwich...but a tasty one at that!
  20. Shakey..you are entitled to your opinon but I am willing to wager that most of the people who say similar sentiments either have not heard any of there albums after LRP or have not seen them live since.
  21. Sums up my thoughts... If I didn't like the band I wouldn't go. It is just frustrating knowing that they know how to play all the songs in there catelog and they have done so recently and they don't throw in a few more nuggets in the live show. Sure the songs they play at every show sound polished but I like Wilco when they play that one off and it sounds a little rusty..one of my favortie surprises at a Wilco show was when they played Pieholden last time in Brooklyn. It was awesome. It made me wonder why they don't play it more oftent! I just find it strange why a band of Wilco's skill and
