  1. I also think you are one of the most sexually, uh, democratic men on this board.
  2. The funny thing about the "big swinging ass" gif was that it was first posted by Bethanydear when she was a n00b, who was shocked that it caused such a ruckus. On her "Mommy board", such images are posted all the time without embarrassment or shame. (Or being reported.)
  3. She's not my type, but this is a fabulous bathing suit! My friend Claudia and I were talking this summer about designing and manufacturing these 50s suits again.
  4. There is much to recommend it. And skirts.
  5. That scene is etched in my memory, and reenacted on a late night train somewhere in England.
  6. Logorrhoea or logorrhea (Greek λογορροια, logorrhoia, "word-flux") is defined as an "excessive flow of words" and, when used medically, refers to incoherent talkativeness that occurs in certain kinds of mental illness, such as mania. I don't know anything about Scientology, but Tom Cruise seems a bit tetched these days.
  7. I sure wish Jagjaguwar would set up a preorder for this. I can't wait for the release.
  8. I just had a pee shiver, and I didn't even pee!
  9. Of course. I understand. The LRS I attended last year was a magical experience. I have always been particularly enamored with the Old Town event though, because it is close to the Celtic idea of a great bard standing in a circle with other tremendous players and teaching each other tunes. I love the synergy in that!
  10. Yes, I read that. Just reinforces my androgyny.
  11. Eric! I hope you are having a great day! Happy birthday.
  12. Ditto. Will this Old Town School of Folk Music LR Show - The Movie ever be available for public consumption?
  13. This thread should just be pinned.
  14. This looks quite good. (I have lurked on Laura's blog. )
  15. I am reading 6 books presently; three books of poetry, one dictionary and two other more esoteric titles. (Thank you g, you da best book pal. ) This came in the mail Saturday, and has been taunting me ever since. OK, seven books. I finally gave in this afternoon:
  16. Aw, no. Bethanydear called me on my cell this afternoon. Oh I am so very saddened by this. She was so full of life. So brave and amazing and brilliant and funny. I loved the time I spent with her. Hugs for all of us.
  17. Drew, you want I should define soul? I'll send you some soukous. You whippersnappers get to discover Africa all over again. In a way, that's good enough. Soukous Radio.
  18. There was another comparison I was thinking of but I don't want to sully Reni's thread. I voted for Nader. The blood of all of those soldiers is on my hands too.
  19. David Byrne is now old and wonky. You guys go on with your love fest. I'm starting to feel a bit like The Maker in the Bon Iver thread.
