I am reading this right now for book group at work.....I am loving it.....

However, I have two coming in the mail next week which I can't wait to get my mitts on....thanks to a book reviewer on Fresh Air doing her Best Of list.....

All I've heard are great things about this book,even though it's in Oprah's book club.That interveiw with James was eye opening and very informational.I've had a problem with the 12 step program since I first learned about it also,it's cool to see another man's idea of recovery help so many people. :wub

Just read Sam Shepard's Rolling Thunder Logbook. Some nice insights, a few touching moments, much weirdness, and some great pics like this one:

i just ordered up the new Jim Loewen book on sundown towns. that should be interesting. i loved his previous works.

 

right now, i'm rereading a lot of stuff i haven't looked at in a while. up next is WE by zimyatin. it's what orwell admitted he was ripping off when he wrote 1984.

I'm thinking of putting a comprehensive list of every book I've ever read together.

 

I honestly doubt I could do that. I've forgotten half the books I've read over the years.
