a.miller
Cool pics. For some reason when I saw that pic of all your stuff set up in the woods, I envisioned the mayhem that would occur should a rain storm come. I was playing in a band once and we were playing on the roof of a house for a college graduation party and a storm came. Talk about assholes and elbows. Running with gear across a wet roof - yikes. I nearly went over with my amp cab. Back to the pic thread..ahem.

jdlee23
Sean Patrick, that looks like a very cool setup. I like the pic of you at the baby xylophone, with all the records in the back. Is that your apartment? Very cool. Anywho, here is my Moog, my baby: Edited August 4, 2006 by jdlee23

Gobias Industries
How's that Tele Deluxe working for you?
TCP
I am very jealous of jdlee23's moog. Here's my gear. The piano is actually my families but it's mine once I get my own place. The little peavy amp is actually just my brothers but he didn't use it so I use to use it as a practice amp in my rec room. Since this picture was taken I got a banjo. groselicain
I don't really take pictures of my stuff, but I took pictures of my old Jazzmaster for insurance purposes once... I'll let you see a sampling of those-
H to the ickle
I don't have many pictures of just my gear, though a friend of mine did take a bunch of cool pictures while we recording a little EP in my basement this summer (www.myspace.com/notnorman, if you're interested in hearing a few), so these are a few of them. H to the ickle
Nice black and whites above!! The one down the neck is a great picture. Yeah, the singer on most of our songs is also an amazing photographer and made us look a whole lot cooler than we really are.

jhc
how is that Valve Jr treating you?
fortuneinmyhead
The valve junior is a wonder of minimalism--one knob, volume only. I only use it for practice. It doesn't bother me that it is not tube. I have a Fender Hot Rod Deville for that.
Pecan_Pie
I thought the Epi Junior was a tube amp... hence the Valve part in the name. 1 12ax7 and 1 EL84 right?
fortuneinmyhead
well it has a tube in it but i don't think anyone would seriously consider it a 'tube' amp. my understanding is that these little tube amps are *cough* a marketing scam. they are essentially a solid state amp with a little tube in them so companies can claim they are selling you a 'tube' amp. ah marketing geniuses! I could be wrong of course, but my opinion is from reading about the little tube amps on some guitar/amp forums. Edited August 28, 2006 by fortuneinmyhead
groselicain
That's wicked cool.Yeah, it was probably the coolest one I had/have seen, and it was one heck of a tone machine. I miss it quite a bit, but maybe since I took a job as a music instructor and guitars are considered tax write-offs I can get something of equal-or-greater coolness. I mean they're like a hundred bucks anyways. Keep rockin' that Hot Rod Deluxe! Thoses are some pretty killer amps. Especially when you have the Clean channel loud enough to give you some distortion Edited August 28, 2006 by Pecan_Pie

I've definetly heard of/seen those sorts of amp but I thought that those Epi ones are legit. Maybe im wrong?
fortuneinmyhead
well y'all drove me to do a little more net research on the epi and i'm thinking it is indeed a true tube amp. i bought it a few months ago mostly because i was tired of lugging the fender from practice to practice. i guess i assumed the epi was a hybrid because it was so cheap.
