solace
I kind of envy you "meeting" it for the first time. I also was late to discover it, but it was one of the first VC recommendations I took and I remember falling big-time for BDB with that one. My next favorite is the "About A Boy" soundtrack, and then "One Plus One Equals One." The newest one was weak, sadly.weak or not, it still has a handful of truly great songs... i think i prefer the new one to Have You Fed The Fish and for me it's about on par w/ 1+1. he just set the bar a bit too high w/ Bewilderbeast unfortunately, and will spend the rest of his career in the shadow of that record for me. but i still like him a lot, and he's gotten waaaaaaaaay better live in the last few years since those first 2 times i saw him. his voice is much much stronger, and he's a lot more professional and happy onstage. Synthesizer Patel
 meh, the novelty's wearing off. I think it keeps getting better and better. The only track that spoils it slightly is Search For Delicious, cos nothing really happens in it, but coming after Good Girl/Carrots, I can forgive a little pointless noddling. Littlebear
Â Probably their best album. At least way better than Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and more cohesive than Summerteeth. I have to give more spins to the live album, and the new one to be definitive.
