Reni
In my career as a journalist, I have observed time and time again that the Republicans throw better parties. Better food, better booze than the Dems. kinda like the rich Young Republican kids at the prep school I went to always had the good coke and drank expensive beer - while the kids at the liberal arts high school I later went to had skunky pot and drank Old English 40 ounces
ction
I enjoyed a crisp, cold 22 oz. Legend Golden Ale with dinner last night. It was pretty damn great. And it was served in a crisp, cold, Drag the River pint glass... That picture actually shows the cool DTR glass with a Legend Lager, but whatever.

froggie
wise words stolen from another messageboard! In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. Coli) bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poop. However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, BEER or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting. Remember: Water = Poop Beer = Health Therefore, it's better to drink beer and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.
Lammycat
Dogfish Head - Raison D'EtreI've still yet to try this. All I've heard is great things about it. It's a Maryland/Delaware brew, correct?
caliber66
Yes. I believe the brewery is in Delaware, but they have brewpub(s?) in Maryland also. If you can get it where you are, try anything you can find. It's all excellent.

myboyblue
Black Cherry Diet Coke I love that stuff... followed by Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. Yes. I believe the brewery is in Delaware, but they have brewpub(s?) in Maryland also. If you can get it where you are, try anything you can find. It's all excellent. Regarding Dogfish Head beer - What he said... The Raison D'etre is definitely not my favorite. The 60 minute pale ale, shelter pale ale and their Stout (name escapes me) are my personal favorites. Now Drinking - First beer of the weekend: Bell's - Lager Beer :-) Not my favorite of the Bell's catalog but it is still Bell's.
