Food/Drink you would not want to live without

Recommended Posts

If the doc told me tomorrow no more pizza, mom's fried chicken and green rice, Goff's cheeseburgers, popcorn, eggs n' bacon or ribeyes, I think I'd go ahead and put my affairs in order. The list will grow, I'm sure.

What foods/meals/bevs are you not willing to part with?

Pizza is definitely up there on the list. I'd also miss the various chipped/shredded BBQ sandwiches that I crave on a regular basis and tuna salad.

Then there's this stuff:

I couldn't live in a world where I couldn't create and consume cake.

The only things I think I could live without are onions (a.k.a. the Devil's vegetable) which I've despised since birth, mushrooms, and pancakes and waffles. And various sweet peppers.

My father's pasta carbonara

Aubree's pizza (wheat crust only)

Pad Kee Mauw from Tuptim

Hummus

Cottage cheese

Most other cheese

Sammiches in general

Michigan blueberries (at the peak of the season)

Nectarines

This list could get very long, so I'll stop there.

Thai food (which unfortunately I do have to live without most of the time, since there are no good Thai restaurants here), pizza, beer, Coke Zero

I didn't know cigarettes were a food/drink.

I like to soak mine in water then drink said water. Kinda like when someone thumps a cigarette in a toilet. The brown nicotine streak. Yum-O.

There is not ONE thing that I could not give up tomorrow.

And I have given up things both voluntarily and involuntarily several times in my life.
