Sweet Papa Crimbo
These are what I refer to as the Tuesday artists (i.e. have to purchase the cd on the Tuesday it is released); however I Don't think I have 20 artists that are still active that interest me that much anymore. WilcoBruce SpringsteenNeil YoungBob DylanU2Alejandro EscovedoDrive By TruckersBobby Bare Jr. (in his various incarnations...a recent addition)Ryan AdamsQueens of the Stone Age (although they might be falling off the list) There are only two artists I will spend my hearing on these days (i.e. attend concerts): WilcoSpringsteen I will eventually buy a new Pearl Jam release (in the month or so after it is released)I used to be an avid REM and Talking Heads fan but they aren't even my radar anymore.I will occassionally get interested in new Petty, but not often.I try to get interested in some of the new bands, but I am left unmoved. Sweet Papa Crimbo
In 1995 he made his screenname (not on VC) remphish1. Since then, he's made every one of his internet monikers (emails, messageboard, adult sites) "remphish1", just for consistancy. Even though now he's 27 and merely a shadow of the joyful exhuberant 15 year old who made the name, he still keeps the name. Thats what I think. Sounds like my rock relationship with the screen name Crow Jack... However, I was 35 when I became crow...
