Kalle
Well I say we talk about something we can all agree on, how great of a song Pot Kettle Black is and how awesome it is the guys are playin it again! Dunno if this is the best version the new lineup has played but here's the recording from the May 25th show. http://www.sendspace.com/file/ycy9ou Enjoy!

crusoli
I was at the show and I have to say this is the best version I've heard of Pot Kettle Black. I was excited to hear Impossible Germany live but Pot Kettle Black just blew me away. Best song of the whole show.
awatt
I once said that Pot Kettle Black does not hold up live compared to the studio version. Can I take that statement back? I was wrong. Thanks.
purplestallion
That was pretty good stuff. They're sounding AMAZING live these days. Can't wait for them to swing by my neck of the woods!!!
deepseacatfish
Sweet, glad this gem is making it back into their sets. Here's to hoping to hear it in Davenport. Always one of the (many) highlights of YHF.
sureshot
the first wilco song i fell in love with
bobbob1313
I'd just like to say that the 3rd 07 Living Room Show should take full credit for this song coming back.
thermocaster
I'd just like to say that the 3rd 07 Living Room Show should take full credit for this song coming back. Indeed, if for no other reason than it probably forced Jeff to go back and re-memorize the lyrics afterwards.
cryptique
I'd just like to say that the 3rd 07 Living Room Show should take full credit for this song coming back. And Leo in particular.
a_quiet_domino
Let us hope that "Hotel Arizona" encounters a similar resurrection.

Orbit
I think Pot Kettle Black is one of wilco's best songs off of YHF and probably one of my personal top 10 wilco songs, I would love to hear them play it live on their current tour.
wilcogirl
Thanks Kalle!!!
dannygutters
My favorite part about this song is that I switch between listening to the full studio album version and jeff's solo live sunken treasure version every couple of months, and everytime I do I'm completely blown away by what I'm missing in one or the other. Embarcadero_Skies
Just another reason why I love this F-ing band. Thanks for the post.
jethro
I was at the show and I have to say this is the best version I've heard of Pot Kettle Black.I think I prefer the feedback howly version I have from back in '02. The problem with PKB before (and still, from hearing this version) is Jeff just doesn't sing it very well. Musically it's great, vocally I don't think even Paula would have too many kind words. Chorus aside, it just doesn't seem like he's all that into singing it. Maybe it's the tempo he's not comfortable with. Anyway I hope they get better at it, it's a great song to add to the shows. mastershake
probably one of the best wilco songs ever
Chris_H_2
Hmmm. I see they're still not doing the guitar part after "It's become so obvious that you are so oblivious to yourself."
MrMilk
I love the guitar sound in that short instrumental break after "I know you have no home". It was amazing to hear it live in Amsterdam; made me grin.
rareair
thanks for that. i love the end. jeff sounds great.
