froggie
looks like old Robert has another appointment up his sleeve: http://www.gigwise.com/news/54393/Led-Zeppelins-Robert-Plant-Confirms-One-Off-Choir-Backed-London-Show Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant has announced a one-off, ultra intimate charity gig in London next month. The 61-year-old rock legend plays the Sound & Vision show in aid of Cancer Research UK at Abbey Road Studios on February 25th. Plant's unique set will include support from American singer-songwriter Beth Nielson Chapman and the London Oriana Choir. Fans can bid for the chance to attend the show on the Sound & Vision eBay site from today. As well as the Robert Plant show, items up for auction in the sale include a guitar signed by all four members of The Prodigy, a Kaiser Chiefs drumskin signed by the whole band, plus handwritten lyrics from Tori Amos, Doves, Mumford & Sons and more. Analogman
Robert Plant Returns To Americana With Band of Joy He is doing a version of Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down. Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page was inducted into the Mojo hall of fame at a ceremony in London. I wonder if he will ever do anything other than pick up awards and pose for photographs? Analogman
He keeps saying he is going to put out some new music, but he never does. Meanwhile, Jason is doing some sort of tribute tour, and has a new band with Joe Bonamassa and Glenn Hughes. Black Country Communion
froggie
the three of them have new projects, but jimmy has been talk, talk, talk for the last 10 years (apart from the page/plant albums/tour). the moment robert says YES (which he wont) to a LZ tour, they'll all drop their projects and jump at it. lets hope jimmy sticks to his latest words

Analogman
Thanks for the heads up. Some dudes on the Zeppelin message board are not so sure it is something new. (The seeder is firewalled, so it is going to take a while to get this show.)

Black Country Communion I had not heard about this, that's a heck of a group of good musicians. Bonamassa is the real deal on guitar.

I've read a lot about that guy on Ross Halfin's website, but never really heard any of his music. Also - check out these dudes:Led Zepagain After doing some more reading, the powers that be have decided that the recently posted Bath Festival show is a new source. Check out these TCV posters. Analogman
Bad Times, Worse Times: Led Zeppelin Sued for Copyright Infringement I've always wondered why these guys wait so long to sue the band. Willie Dixon did the same thing: Whole Lotta Love" – Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" was appropriated, without credit, from Dixon's "You Need Love". Although the main guitar riff was composed by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant based the lyrics on Dixon's song. Dixon and his music publisher received credit and royalties after a 1985 lawsuit was settled out of court.

Willie Dixon did the same thing: No kidding, should be some kind of statute of limitations. They can't claim they never heard that song!
Winston Legthigh
No kidding, should be some kind of statute of limitations. They can't claim they never heard that song!I believe the statute of limitations is 3 years for civil actions, but the "start date" of that three years is the last infringing act. Courts differ as to what that last infringing act date is interpreted to be...
choo-choo-charlie
I'll tell ya why he waited 40 years to sue: he's been dazed and confused for so long, it's not true...
