Katie3
I actually purchased first, in terms of Wilco albums.
Shakey
Didn't everybody?
Katie3
Not necessarily, I know someone who bought YHF first, and someone else who bought SBS first...
froggie
...kick-started a kick-arse band
mountain bed
...I like to play LOUD (esp. after a few bevvies). ...is the record I turn most (non-fan) people onto first.
Beltmann
I love to listen to during really long road trips.
DAngerer09
I used to think was so-so, but have recently rediscovered it.
So Long
goes unappreciated. ...holds some really great songs.
oceanman
Jeff let John sing his only song in Wilco history.

Guest Alan
is the Wilco album I listen to the least. Â something about the production on this just screams "HEY DJ, PLAY ME ON THE RADIO!"
Littlebear
is the album that preceeds a row of six great ones
yankhotelfox
Has a handful of decent songs, with one exception, Box full of letters, which is a Jeff classic.
ction
...this thread is about.
quarter23cd
"HEY DJ, PLAY ME ON THE RADIO!"This would have been an excellent song title.

cryptique
...I bought on the day it came out, or maybe the next day.  ...was a pleasant surprise to me, because it confirmed that Jeff Tweedy was continuing his career post-Uncle Tupelo.  ...is criminally underrated by lots of people on this board. wheelco
contains Casino Queen, which the young kids these days adore
phish907
Continued my love for Jeff Tweedy music following the demise of my all time favorite band Uncle Tupelo, seriously I was crushed for months after UT said goodbye.
W(TF)
Jeff let John sing his only song in Wilco history. speaking of It's Just That Simple.... Can someone shed some more light on this song for me? I know John wrote and sang it, and a quick look at Wilcobase shows it's been performed TWICE since 1995 - once in '03 and in '04. I think it's a great song and seems to fit well in the context of A.M. John does a semi-passable impression of Rick Danko, with a cryptic 'cripple' reference even. Ok...maybe not. Ricko was a helluva singer. Just wondered why they don't play it more. Or does John have stage fright?
Bubs101
Is the album that'd should have ended the career of Wilco. Luckily it didn't
bourbonbreath
is easily forgotten about because of the masterpieces that followed.
