cryptique
...and Cal goes down too. They didn't have to ... the quarterback gave it away at the end with a bonehead play. Sadly, this means that Ohio State will probably be the new number one. I was pulling for Cal just because someone ELSE would finally be the top-ranked team (other than USC, OSU, LSU, or Florida). Oh well.

Gobias Industries
I can see this: OSU vs. USF in the BCS. That would be great. It would be mostly neutral, given its location. And OSU would be likely to shred USF. Well, that's if OSU and USF clean the boards, which is both likely and unlikely given the tough matchups coming up later this season. I don't think OSU would beat USF. USF's defense is sick, and Matt Grothe's a hell of an athlete.
cryptique
Yeah, I think OSU-USF would be a hell of a game. BCS rankings come out today for the first time this year. I wonder how stupid they'll be.
explodo
And OSU would be likely to shred USF.The Big Ten is even more awful this year than usual. I'm not sure how great OSU really is.
DAngerer09
If I had a vote, I'd go USF #1, BC, #2, and then OSU #3. Kansas would be my #4. USF has the most quality wins- beat Auburn on the road and took care of WV easily at home. 2 impressive winsBC gets the 2 slot just based upon OSU's HORRIBLE schedule. They play no one. When you are a top tier team, why do you feel the need to schedule 2 MAC teams and a D1AA opponent when you are already in a weaker BCS conference? Yes, I am calling the Big Ten weak, because it really is a weak conference. The SEC, Big East, Pac 10, Big 12 are all miles ahead of the Big 10 this season.
CommerceComet
If I had a vote, I'd go USF #1, BC, #2, and then OSU #3. Kansas would be my #4. OU would destroy Kansas. Actually, we may get to see it in the Big 12 Championship.
DAngerer09
See, that's the problem with college football. OU has already lost, therefore you are almost completely eliminated from any chance at a national title. I know it is still possible for them to make it, but unlikely. Playoff, please. DAngerer09
Everyone will have a loss this year. Have you had a look at OSU's schedule? Unless Michigan beats them (Lloyd Carr has sucked against Tressel OSU), they will not lose any of their remaining games. USF has a good shot to run the table in the Big East. If you win AT Auburn, you can beat any Big East team. BC has a lot of tough games left, so I think they will lose. What I am hoping for is like 10 teams with one loss so the BCS looks horrendous. Sir Stewart
What's the general feeling about Boston College? I'm a casual lifelong fan thanks to both parents' being alumni - it seems to me like they've taken quite an easy road to #3.
