solace
since i can only possibly make the first 2... any chance they'll go somewhat chronological?
Guest David Puddy
wow, this is going to be amazing. i can't imagine going to all 5, but if it's reasonable, i'll be there. definitely 1 or 2 though. and, i've bitched about wilco not playing chicago enough, and now look what i've gotten in return... Three dollars and 63 cents
:blink : :blink :blink :blink :blink :blink :blink :blink I couldn't have said it better myself. Except maybe adding a few for good measure. That might be the most amazing five-night block of shows ever. I'm seeing them the next week--hopefully they'll still be carrying the energy from these shows, and there will be an awesome setlist.
solace
even if i lived in Chi i don't know that i could do all 5 though... i usually tend to start to get tired of any band by the 3rd consecutive (even if there's a day or two in between) show of a run. granted the unique setlists would help greatly in this case ok, so maybe i'd just do 15, 16, 19,
Lammycat
I could see doing all 5. If I had the time, plane fair, hotel, babysitter, vacation time, and extra cash for tix after the Holidays. Looks to be a great week. I'm sure it'll be a treat for all in attendance.
nalafej
I like how it says "Winter Residency 2008," does this mean it is an annual thing?
bobfrombob
6 studio albums - 5 nights? How does that work? Taking Sunday night off really sucks if somebody was thinking of coming all the way from, say, Ottawa. It looks from the web site like there's no WilcoWorld pre-sale for single tickets? But wow! Szabo
6 studio albums - 5 nights? How does that work? Because each album is not long enough to constitute one show?
ZenLunatic
I like how it says "Winter Residency 2008," does this mean it is an annual thing? I take Residency as in doing shows for extended stay, not meaning yearly. Could very well be a trend though if they like it. The noticed Smashing Pumpkins doing residencies and thought it was a good idea. They may even do residencies in many diff areas if they like it.
deepseacatfish
So ... might we finally get a live DVD out of this? This is what I'm angling for As much as a Friday/Saturday Chicago trip might be worth it I don't know if I'll be able to afford it in February, though it's a possibility. I certainly hope this means continued awesome setlists through when they do come to Iowa in March.

Guest Jules
Holy shit. I'll be out of town the 15th and 16th, but I think I'll extend my vacation through the 21st! And, there is a single-show pre-sale on Friday.
