mountain bed
The '00s were the most dreadful decade of rock music EVER. Even worse than the '80s.
uncool2pillow
The '00s were the most dreadful decade of rock music EVER. Even worse than the '80s.MB, the 80s had the most vibrant underground scene of any decade. Also, IMO, Prince's output makes the decade worthwhile too. As far as this decade, the industry changed so much this decade and indie music sounded so different than any other decade that I am still trying to wrap my head around it. I sold it on ebay after a half a listen.

The High Heat
after a half a listen.Three times I got this far on a Sam Roberts Band album before quitting on it. The friend who lent it to me said I could have it if I liked it. To his chagrin, I returned it.

monster
now this is blasphemy...Flying Nun is the greatest label of all time. The ChillsThe CleanThe BatsVerlainesThe Pin GroupThis Kind of Punishment/Jefferies brothersGordonsDead CThe Rip/Alastair GalbraithTall DwarfsBill Direen/Bilders  all those bands put out totally essential records in the 80s. Seen this news? Flying Nun And this....(it's been up for a while and as a FN fan you may have already seen it, worth a watch if you haven't (in 9 parts))
Moss
Bee Thousand > Murmer Man, that's a tough one for me. I have listened to both albums about equally over the years. I honestly don't know which one I would choose for the desert island.

brianjeremy
Is it bad to like Owl City just as much as the Postal Service? I dunno if I am there yet but my sister-in-law turned me on to these guys and I like it. Â Â I love me so GBV but Murmur > B000(in any format), no contest.
