fatheadfred
Which is? Like I said earlier, George Bush doesn't want to be in charge anymore. I bet he's regretting running in the first place. The last thing he wants is to be in charge for the rest of his life. He just wants to go watch baseball and drink beer.he never has been in charge, he is a puppet and if they need the puppet for another act he ain't goin' to Dallas to watch baseball

Sweet Papa Crimbo
I'm with you on this one. This is all a little too "children of men" for me. There's no possible way that anything remotely close to what is being suggested in this thread will ever go down. And think about it rationally. The UNITED STATES ARMY announces in its official publication the forthcoming coup attempt?! People...take a xanax and kick back.
JUDE
And think about it rationally. The UNITED STATES ARMY announces in its official publication the forthcoming coup attempt?! People...take a xanax and kick back. That's what they want you to think.
fatheadfred
People...take a xanax and kick back. So, just do what we have been doing? Alright. Do I have to take xanax or can I get something more natural? This would be a great time to propose grass legalization. Increase tax revenue, decrease dollars spent on incarceration. Do it for the sake of the economy!

fatheadfred
See, this is why your arguments will never truly persuade me, there's such a granola-crunchy undertone... Granola is good for your health, Cap'n Crunch. It seemed rather mathematical to me, not hippy. Hippies and tax revenues? hmmm. Dept. of Corrections. yeah hippies work there. Check one example in state of Alaska (2004):This perspective has led to some fairly substantial claims regarding the amount of money to besaved by taxpayers if marijuana were decriminalized. For example, a recent study by ScottBates (2004) claimed that Alaska was spending $25-30 million per year enforcing marijuanaprohibition laws. Further, since there is no link between marijuana use and criminal behavior, there would be no impact on crime. And, if the purchase of marijuana were to be taxed as alegal commodity, tax revenues would increase by about $10-20 million per year. So, voterswere promised that a net swing of $35 - $50 million per year would appear in the state
Panther
I really can't stand those "like I said, bush dosent want to be in office comments" wtf are you talking about, what do you know?. You think that guy is a cartoon character don't you , you probably watch allot of the daily show and you were probably laughing when John Stewart got his audience to laugh about how your country is now socialist and soon mine. yeah very funny. idiot that is all. this is not a joke . Im sorry but using the words tin foil hats to insulte people is lame your not saying shit. Your only argument is uhhh its not gonna happen
MrRain422
I don't think we're about to see martial law, but I think it's incredibly naive to not be at least suspicious of this. As has been pointed out, this is a drastic change to American law and policy that has existed since the Civil War. For those who are accusing others of wearing tin foil hats, please please explain to me what the innocent purpose of this is? I personally don't know what the true purpose is, but whatever it is, it can't be good. And the reason I don't think it will happen is just that I think there would be too much resistance to it from those who actually have some power to prevent it. That's really the only reason. And I buy the argument that Bush wouldn't be able to successfully pull it off, but not the argument that he wouldn't do it -- those who say he wouldn't do it probably also said that he would not lie to get us into a war, would not torture, would not suspend basic civil liberties, would not purposely politicize the justice department, etc. The neocons do not believe in our democratic system, and they've shown it again and again. Half of your sentences didn't make sense, yet you seem to have all the answers. I'm sure you and your interweb conspiracy crew all foiled what could be the biggest global threat of our times by blogging. Calm down.

This is encouraging, a chink in your armor, but a good one.
fatheadfred
You all think I am out there...20. You can forget about the NAU's Amero. The Amero is off the table - the Canadian Prime Minister said 'We're not going to support a bankrupt country'; and Mexico is so corrupt that nobody knows where they're coming from. the rest of the shit is friggin wack. http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?ac...e;topic=59926.

Party @ the Moontower
All this talk of granola-crunchy undertones has made me hungry for a nice bowl of sweet & crunchy bowel movement wonders in a bowl. Whatever happens, them damn conservative nuts better not take my granola away. I'm sure those camps will serve liberals like me some nasty GMO cereal. I may never poop again. Analogman
Analogman was just curious if Mr. Rain may have been referring to one of those things. Also, troops have been called out to deal with citizens before - so it has happened.

The military, other than the National Guard, have been called on to act within the United States only in temporary emergency situations. They have never been used on a permanent, open-ended basis before.
