Wilco Worshipper
"You Were Wrong" - Loose Fur I recently discovered this on a copy of a solo show of Jeff's, with Glenn along, from November '05 at the Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA. It was my 1st and to-date only solo show. I don't know what it is exactly but I listen to just this track at least 2-3 times a day. I've never heard the studio version. I know part of it is just Jeff's voice but there's something else. I guess it sort of goes along w/ what both hazel and sweetheart wrote in the Pieholden thread...all those feelings wrapped up inside.
yermom
I haven't listened to a Wilco (or related) song in at least two weeks. If I were to listen to one right now, I would choose "Crack a Smile."
froggie
the weird thing with me is that they're not 'wilco' songs:... arline to heavenmountain bedone by oneacuff-rose
badger
I've never heard the studio version. I recently started listening to the first Loose Fur album on pretty much a daily basis and You Were Wrong certainly has an addictive quality to it. I can highly recommend the studio version! Three dollars and 63 cents
I've had A.M. in my car stereo for the last few weeks, and I always listen to Too Far Apart three or four times. In fact, the other day I ended up listening to it for my entire drive home, probably six or seven times.

AFlyOnTheWall of the LOFT
Long Time Ago from Golden Smog's Another Fine Day has been my driving buddy all week. Along with Listen Joe from the same album, Answers to your Questions from BAITUSA, Ashes of American Flags from YHF, and The Family Gardener from The Minus 5. It's a part of a sweet ass compilation I made.
wilconut
For me, it's been Millionare. I'm in love with that song. I also recently rediscovered a Golden Smog tune, Listen Joe. I think it's a Gary Louris tune since he is singing lead vocals, but when Jeff chimes in during the chorus the song becomes so haunting. Loving it.

I've had that tune stuck in my head for the last week or so. It doesn't help matters that my wife loves that tune and always wants me to play it on the guitar.
