I just remember when Phil didn't even have a mic, and we'd all be out there screaming "LET PHIL SING!". I guess I'm old.

one of the best phil and friends shows i saw was in camden on the tour with mike and trey. Trey played the whole second set, incredible show.

The Drums and space on this tour have been really good. I wish they would do a show of all this kind of stuff, like the infared roses disc. Late night at a festival.

Good idea. Man, I haven't listened to Infrared Roses in YEARS. The sound on that thing is scary-good. you can't turn it up too loud or the dogs get all weird on you.

edit: Matt, was that Bird Song that preceded China Rider? It was so out there when I first tuned in I wasn't sure.

 

Bird Song! have had a hankering to listen to that for the past day or so.

 

where did you all hear this show? was it a one time stream or have/ will they archive it?

ETA: I hear they are not going to allow these radio streams to be uploaded to archive.org

thanks for the info. i signed up however, my browser claims it needs plug-ins in order to play, yet it won't tell me which plug-ins are needed.

 

maybe they won't allow them to be posted on archive.org since the band is selling downloads of their shows? i'm sure some people will find a way to get it "out there" tho, haha.
