Smokestack Joe
Ha! Its funny when John messes up at 0:20 seconds and then shrugs his shoulders and hands. Probably his first or second stab at the song. -- So the Record Club songs are professionally released? Just for entertainment on Beck's website? really? This project has really pumped up Beck in my mind. Well, Sea Change initiated that feeling but this project is real great like Choo-Choo-Charlie said
Mr. Kinsley
That is indeed Jamie Lidell, and he is worth knowing. After putting out a bunch of glitchy, experimental electronic music, he's now recorded a couple of amazing soul records (while still keeping his sampler chops intact). I've seen him a couple of times perform with just his voice and a couple of laptops, and both times ended with a complete party onstage. Check out these two clips to get a sense of the range of this guy: He really is good! I'm putting him on my 'what I want to get at Amoeba Records with my Christmas gift certificate' list. All Come to Meet Her makes me wish Wilco did more harmonizing.

tongue-tied
Ha! Its funny when John messes up at 0:20 seconds and then shrugs his shoulders and hands. Probably his first or second stab at the song. He seems pretty happy with what he heard at the end.
blureu
"Books Of Moses" is up. No Wilco involvement though. http://www.beck.com/
badu2fan
I love this project and the others Beck has posted on his site. Hats off for something original. I enjoy seeing the musicians in the studio sans lights etc to just play. Some of the singing has been enjoyable as the musicians strain to reach the note etc. I have never had opportunity to see Beck live and this project is making up for it. I wish he would post one of his shows with the puppets. Does anyone know why Beck never plays in the south east???? He hardly tours but I don't think he has played VA NC SC GA KY FL AL ETC for 10 years or more. Bonaroo is only show I know of. Glad he grab wilco and got to love how they are enjoying. Nels tears some great solos IMO. Love to see the band include some of this in the evening with wilco. Instead of a Horn section how about a female singer to join the band for several songs.I love Jeff's harmonies with the ladies.

sgtpepper64
Bump! Did anyone ever find someone ripping the audio off of these videos? Would love mp3's of the whole album...
Mr. Heartbreak
Bump! Did anyone ever find someone ripping the audio off of these videos? Would love mp3's of the whole album...Seconded. I actually like a lot of this better than most of what's on the last couple Wilco studio releases. Jeff sounds really relaxed, and the collaboration with Feist works well too, IMHO.
