Calexico
I have no idea, sorry. They put this one out themselves so they might not have a distribution deal there yet.
Synthesizer Patel
Is it available in the U.S. yet? just order it from amazon.co.uk - it's not that much for shipping. it really is a great album.
Synthesizer Patel
Plus you have to ask yourself...did they finger it in an obviously sexual way or did they finger it in the "grass up your mates to the rozzers" way? true - i think it's inthe sexual sense, though. it's got that "yeah, i fingered her behind the bike sheds" kind of feel to it - like it meant nothing, and was just done so you could tell your mates. basically, the cheapening of rock n roll. i still find it funny that they managed to get on T4 a few years back and sing Shit repeatedly, by claiming they were saying "the overgrown supership" instead of "supershit" in lessons learned from rocky 1 to rocky
Moss
black crowes - ...until the freeze I like your consistency! If you like something, stick with it! It is a very good album.
bleedorange
i like this new one a bit more than Alopecia (both were actually recorded at the same time here in Minnesota). might still be my favorite record this year, not sure. Why? are all about Yoni's lyrics, which are often pretty amazing. I love it. Hard to say right now which one I might like better, since this one is still new to me. GtrPlyr
In mono with headphones... and it sounds terrific. I've always thought this was one of the best records they ever released. I know many discount it as a contender because it's basically a collection of singles and an EP, but song for song it is very hard to beat.

PopTodd
Def Leppard - YEAH! All covers of great glam and straight-up rock from the late 60's and early 70's. It's the stuff that inspired the band to play music in the first place and, let me tell you, the guys have good taste!Pooh-pooh if you will, but this is just a great rock band playing great old songs that they love and having a grand old time with it! Germans love David Hasselhoff. Re: Cornershop - I haven't heard anything beyond Brimful of Asha. However, I've noticed a lot of love from across the pond.
