jff
This would be perfect if it weren't for the soprano sax. Fortunately, there are long stretches where the soprano sits out.
Synthesizer Patel
The Fiery Furnaces - Take Me Round Again [EP]It's the album where the Friedbergers cover themselves. It's on Thrill Jockey right now. EDIT/UPDATED: not too sure i like this much. it's definately not anywhere near as good as the album. i was expecting them to go a bit more weird with it, i guess. GtrPlyr
^^ I was listening to that yesterday. Between this and her last one, I'd say Rickie is doing some of her best work ever.

brianjeremy
My official opinion on this: minus two or three songs (and I am using the deluxe edition as my basis), this isn't too bad.

brianjeremy
Anybody have it? I have only heard what's on myspace but it sounds good. I've had it for a while. So far, I am totally unimpressed with the album. All of the songs seem flat and too samey to me. At least with the other PSoI albums/eps, there were about 10 decent songs between them all. I didn't find one on this latest album.

jff
I can never see the name Mason Jennings without thinking it's the Classical Gas guy. I never realized until today that Bowie is the only guitarist credited on this album (with the exception of Alan Parker on one song).
