Muzzle of Dan
Here's a tidbit from the Wilco HQ email that went out today... "More Wilco news from us shortly including info on a handful of other shows, but keep in mind...there will not be a proper Wilco tour this year. Grab your chance to see the band while you can. More soon & happy summering."
Mizzy
I'm willing to drive 6 hours each way for a weekday show, a bit longer for a weekend. Make it happen Wilco.
theashtraysays
Think we might have a TWEEDY opener? The guy still has to peddle that new record....
ditty
Think we might have a TWEEDY opener? The guy still has to peddle that new record.... I'm personally hoping for an all Wilco, 2 and a half hour + set. Something close to this recent show: 11 Oct 2013 / Austin, TX. Add Less Then You Think, Dreamer & KTV for 36 songs. See you at the show V

theashtraysays
I remember that each of the guys got a personalized Louisville Slugger when they played Slugger field in Louisville a few years ago. Glen used two of them for his rock star pose before ITMWLY. They all seemed pretty stoked about it. Never saw this pic before. Nice!

If you are out of personal days, remember that Tampa is hit every year with minor, but debilitating, influenza on September 18th.
Three dollars and 63 cents
It figures Jeff finally comes to Ithaca, to the venue a five-minute walk from where I used to live, two years after I moved four hours away.

I am out of personal days until October, so yeah, I will have to miss this. Good one, though. At this point, I would rather see a Jeff solo show than a Wilco show. Never had a chance to see JT solo...not yet, anyway.
Mizzy
Just to clarify, those are TWEEDY dates, not Wilco dates. I wish I had read this first before jumping up and down in my cubicle.
Magnetized
I wish I had read this first before jumping up and down in my cubicle. You need to take a cue from Jeff: "Oh no, I won't jump for joy, I don't. If I get excited nobody knows." But seriously, a Tweedy show is nothing to sneeze at. I would be very excited if one of these shows were anywhere near me.
remphish1
I prefer a Tweedy show over Wilco. There I said it... reason being set list are way more varied.

Mizzy
I like Wilco like I love cheeseburgers. If you serve me just the bun, I'm not nearly as happy.
Cold as Gasoline
Vermont in the fall is quite lovely! I think another trip to Burlington, VT right about Sept. 29 is about to happen.
Madcap
I'm guessing at this point that the Chicago Tweedy show that got rained out isn't going to be rescheduled. So are these Tweedy dates the other shows that the email mentioned last week, or is there still hope for a couple more random Wilco shows like the Ohio dates?

twoshedsjackson
Does anyone have the pre-sale codes for the new dates (Boston in particular)?
SarahC
There are no codes, it's through front gate just like usual.
twoshedsjackson
There are no codes, it's through front gate just like usual. I know that now, but when I posted earlier Front Gate hadn't listed any of the new shows (they're up now). I got tickets for the Brooklyn show last week and it wasn't through Front Gate. The venue had it's own pre-sale.
