Was easy to see a lot of Guster/ State Radio shows in High School as I lived pretty close to Boston.
GtrPlyr
I really don't have a lot of repeat offender bands. Most artists/bands I like, I've probably only seen once or twice. Just a few exceptions to this really: Paul Westerberg/The Replacements: 11Wilco/Jeff Tweedy: 5The Bourbon Tabernacle Choir: 5 (local band that I used to dig back in the day)

knotgreen
I'm lucky in that I was an obsessive hoarder from a young age, so I have several binders with every ticket stub from every show I've ever seen. When I was younger I'd clip newspaper reviews of shows - I've since stopped doing that. I keep an Excel document now, in hopes a thread like this pops up!

I got several binders of stubs and setlist..and an excel sheet with every band I have seen and how many times and also a lsst of how many shows I have seen, where, when and openers listed...I am a nerd in this aspect. knotgreen
Ticket prices is a good idea, though that could have the adverse effect and discourage future concert going! Glad I'm not the only with this.

I got several binders of stubs and setlist..and an excel sheet with every band I have seen and how many times and also a lsst of how many shows I have seen, where, when and openers listed...I am a nerd in this aspect.I have a book full of stubs too. I wish I had stubs for all of the club shows where I paid at the door - I've seen some great ones.I've seen a lot of bands multiple times, but Wilco is the only one that's gone over ten (and counting). Hixter
If the cutoff is ten or more shows, then I guess it would only be The Who (probably about 15 times in 6 states and 2 countries) and Wilco (about 25 times in 5 states and 6 countries.) I've probably seen Nels Cline in about 75 non-Wilco appearances and Carla Bozulich in about 50 or 60 different shows (many with Nels in the band.)
remphish1
I have a spreadsheet. Also tracking ticket prices. Scary how much money I dropped on tickets last year!I looked at my stubs the other day scary is the ticketmaster surcharges too and how they have multiplied! I think I spend on average $2,000 a year (I average 40-80 shows a year) on concerts..yes it is a lot of money however I don't have many other vises! Might as well enjoy it! Mr. Heartbreak
Mother Mary and Joseph, you guys are out of control! I thought I was bad, having a shoebox with ticket stubs piled into it in chronological order, with set lists (where known) written on the backs. Excel spread sheets, that is a whole other level. I don't think I have seen anyone more than 10 times, although I believe Wilco is hovering around that number now. I will be seeing them 5 more times soon, so that will change this spring and summer.
