Lammycat
I heard a song on the way to work this morning by Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles. I'd never heard of her/her band before. Listened to a few more tracks during planning time and looked her up on the google machine. From Boston area, apparently. Good stuff. Oh, apparently they have a new album that came out a month or 2 ago I need to hear....

Yaz Rock
I have to add Adam's House Cat - Town Burned Down to my list. Just picked it up the other night. This pre-Drive By Truckers album holds up with Patterson Hood's best material despite being recorded a decade before Southern Rock Opera, when Hood was just in his early 20s. Unfortunately the album wasn't released, and the tapes were lost, and then much later rediscovered, and the record finally came out this year.

DBT is one of my favorite bands, so I'll have to check this out.
PopTodd
Only just picked up the new one from The Sea and Cake. But I always like them.
Yaz Rock
The band didn't even have it for sale at their merch table last night, so I don't have the album yet, but the songs the Old 97s played from their new Christmas album are actually really good. Particularly Snow Angels.
Boss_Tweedy
I'd like to add "Benton County Relic" by Cedric Burnside on my list. Just heard the album today and am loving it.
jff
I'm not going to make a list. Every time I try, I end up with a bunch of records that actually came out the previous year. So I'll just say my favorite album of the year is: Sam Evian: You Forever

jff
• Ohmme – Parts I just discovered this band. Good stuff! Have you heard their previous record from 2017? I picked up both at the same time and I've only been able to listen to them once each. So far I like the first one a little better, but both are really good. https://www.discogs.com/Ohmme-Ohmme/master/1350045 Will check out more from your list. We have had similar tastes in the past.
