Charlie is an old doc - saw it a long time ago on VHS - decent enough doc. It was released in some fashion, at least somewhat legally (perhaps one of those Europe grey market deals.) - I rented it from a video store in the late 80s

I saw Aerosmith in 90, too. I was little older (17) - great show. The Black Crowes opened. I was in the lawn with some friends - two of which were ushered up to the front row by a roadie before the show started - needless to say they were both girls (dudded out as hot as a 17 year old could) - I asked the roadie, if I could head up there, too and he just shook his head no. My two friends looked at me, tilted their heads, said sorry and headed to the front row. They didn't get to meet the band, though.

I like the "Hippies with Money" bit - I did a quick search but did not see where that phrase originated from - was it a title of a TV show? I must admit, at first I thought it refered to the people who can afford Grateful Dead box sets. Great video, by the way. That's great tune, too. Great record.

Not sure if you get into the whole Audio Fidelity Gold releases, but they just re-released this a couple of months ago - it does sound better than the original release, esp. on the phones. Just happen to listen to it this a.m. (in the car though - not headphones).

While listening to A.M., I never thought of Wallflowers or Counting Crows either. I do enjoy each of their first albums, though. Imagine T-Bone Burnett producing Wilco - that would be interesting...

Since they started re-running it on cable, I enjoy watching How I Met Your Mother. My 3 year old calls it "Barney".

Yeah - pictures would be better in book form - esp. since she is a bit of a photographer, too, I am sure she has some nice shots.

I probably will get the McGee's e-book - it is bit funny about the whole e-book debate. I prefer books - but an e-book is not the end of the world. Then again my wife has a tablet, so it's no big deal for me to get the e-book.

I can never get into The Big Bang Theory. Tried a couple of times. Now, it seems to be on every hour on the hour on some station or other.

Got it, I guess. But does Keith have to play on a Stones song in order for it to be a "Rolling Stones'" song? And I agree, nothing off of A Bigger Bang or those couple of songs on Forty Licks are better than Saint of Me. I still hold out hope of something great by these guys, though. Reckless, abandon hope, I know.

Because it says so in the title of the thread. I wouldn't mind if the other Tempest threads merged into this one. Speaking of Tempest, heard it twice - so far I enjoy it quite a bit. Musically it sounds great - need to listen to it a few more times to digest the lyrics.

Must admit, this is one the best Wilco threads in a while - need to revisit (or visit) these shows mentioned.
