  1. Saw this pic on another site --- how can someone not have a blast at a Maiden show....
  2. someone posted this on a Stones site -- what a great performance... Bob Dylan - Can't Wait - Hyde Park, London 12 July 2019 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip01n-M7N_M
  3. Stay hydrated -- enjoy! I haven't been to a Pitchfork since the 1st two -- both very enjoyable weekends.
  4. Speaking of anniversaries - 30 years ago was my 1st show - Alpine.
  5. Ha! We vacationing in Canada next month for a week.
  6. You're killing me --- we'll check it out. Forgot to mentioned that the laugh track in Miranda, threw us off --- laugh tracks always bug me, it was only mildly annoying, though.
  7. We haven't gotten around to watch Season 3, yet ---- my kid has been begging me to let him watch it, but I knew it would be too much for him - he is 10 --- but last night, I turned Season 1 - Ep. 1 on for him---he lasted up to the point of Will running off the road on his bike, which is a whopping 6 minutes in or so, he then told me it was ok for me to turn it off... Also last night, The wife and I did watch episode 1 of Miranda -- definitely funny stuff. Earlier in the week we finished the 2nd season of Fleabag -- season 2 was even better than 1. Great, great stuff.
  8. I kinda agree ---- which is why I never got into the Q (i did see them 2 or 3 times) or in a no real hurry to see JRAD.
  9. I had planned to go to the JRAD show, but my wife booked a different show (Heart and Sheryl Crow of all things) for her to go to tonight, prior to me bringing it up. No real big deal, I guess though. I'd be curious to know if the outside lawn area is open (the area where you can't really see the stage). I wonder how much of draw they get. I think this will be the biggest venue they have ever played in Chicago.
  10. Garcia's guitar playing on that Stella Blue is great.
  11. Great shots - thanks. Forgot Tortoise was there ---- how was their show?
  12. Definitely will check it out - thanks.
  13. We just finished the 1st season of Fleabag --- entertaining.
  14. Maybe she'll join back up with the Jicks.
  15. Wow!. Looking forward to the new record. They have a big tour booked, too. Was kicking around the idea of going, but I admit Weiss' drumming is a huge part of me liking the band...
  16. Yeah - especially when the event specific poster nails down the city, too. Now you got me thinking about getting the thing, too - dammit!
  17. I really liked that 1st night poster. Didn't buy one, though. Chicago Theater light bulbs motif. The one for the 2nd night was very generic.
  18. Guessing they will play some Thanksgiving shows in Chicago.
  19. Another great crowd around me in the GA section - this time I was right near the rail and in front of the speaker serving the back of the bowl, so no echo. I was happy to get 7 or so different tune's, too. Bitch and Sweet Virginia were probably the stand outs from the previous concert. I thought Street Fighting Man was a better opener on Friday, but I am glad I saw Jumping Jack Flash, too. Play with Fire was nice to hear, but it seem a bit emotionless and rote. I enjoyed the Friday's Angie/Dead Flowers combo better. Also, even though I am of big fan of Slipping Away, I enjoyed Keith's Fri
  20. I think I started that ^ book a half dozen times, never getting past page 50 or so.
  21. Yeah, even Richards has always said great things about Jagger's harp playing and Keith doesn't compliment anyone or anything very often. (queuing Analogman).
