All our schools will be off for 3 weeks (south suburb of Chicago). My wife, who works at the Univ. of Chicago, was told to work from home indefinitely. Also, I am in trades, too - never thought we would be told to shut down for a bit, but who knows.

Yeah, I was surprised that he took lead on the that, but I thought it sounded pretty good. He has somewhat that same vocal timbre as Betts. Not to mention it seem like a nice shout-out to Betts, by having Chuck sing it.

Been listening to a tape of the 3/10/20 'reunion' show. Sounds pretty damn good, esp. Chuck (god love 'em)

About 40 pages into the below. Decent read. My wife has read a few of her books, but 1st one for me.

Yeah - no begrudging here - just making a point on the cost difference between the 13 years and it stinks that I will be passing due to the cost.

Kinda bummed on the price for the lawn (where you can't see the stage) - $56 or so with fees. Far cry from 2007. Inflation is a bitch, I tell ya.... Had a great time at that 2007 show....the lawn was a hoot.

I am guessing at least once per series, at least towards the beginning of the year.

Go White Sox! It has been a great off-season for the White Sox. Expecting them to make the playoffs this year. I already have tickets in hand for three games; it has been a long while since I bought tickets before a season has even started. Should be interesting to see how the Astros are received through out the year. I'll leave it to others for predictions.

That really stinks. Keep well.

Must admit never heard of Andy Shauf before, but listening to Neon Skyline now via Spofity, pretty good. He is playing Thalia Hall this Saturday and it is sold out. Looks like they could have moved that gig to a bigger place, too.

Gabbard is still in it, I believe. She even received one delegate in America Samoa on Super Tuesday.

Yeah - same for me with new music, if I am interested in new music, I typically just go the local library route. But Liam's efforts has propelled me to actually buy the vinyl. Just the right amount of pop and rock, I guess. Lyrics are pretty dreadful, at times - but the music/melodies covers that. He uses different songwriters/producers for various songs, which help make the records interesting, too.

I was never much of a fan of Oasis during their hey day (never owned any of the music) - that being said, I really enjoy Liam's last two solo records - have them both on vinyl. I am not familiar with any of Noel's material.

That's great that he is at least talking about past members --- wonder if Eddie was still alive, if he would have been asked to join this latest incarnation that will be touring in the summer - guessing not, but who knows.

How was the show?

Perhaps it was just the footage from the phone, but it seems crowd response to Kramer seem a bit tepid. Kinda like the crowd wasn't following any of this drama. Maybe, that just the Vegas vibe.

I guess the director has been with CRB since the beginning, so I guess now is as good a time to put it out, since the band is no more. I am sure he started editing once the band disbanded. I suppose, the brothers need the dough and are fine to work together, again. Them not hiring a bunch of ex-members tells me that they don't want to have to really deal with anybody but themselves - which is fine.

This will be bittersweet to watch. Really stinks that this band is no more. CRB Documentary https://www.greetingsfromunicorncalifornia.com

Crap, didn't hear about that. Great venue. Would rather spend $50 to see this show, than $10 and sit in the lawn at the World.

Last summer was the 1st time I skipped D&C - will be heading to Wrigley this summer.

Think at least some of the folks will be sticking around today. How was your caucus? The cable news were beside themselves last night.

I don't see a problem with it -- if you don't want to hear the filler on Disc 2, just get up and change it, which one will have to do anyways.... I have the below Dick's Pick and it has filler on disc 2. Dick's Picks, Volume Thirteen Grateful Dead Initial release : March 1999 Grateful Dead Records GDCD-4033 Three CD set of the May 6, 1981 show at Nassau Coliseum Disc 2 New Minglewood Blues (Traditional arr. Dave's 23 - 1.22.78 comes close -- about 26 minutes. I am all for filler. #33 was in yesterday's mail - looking forward to hearing it; the show was one of my 1st tapes. I played the hell out it for long while. CD 2: Bertha (Garcia / Hunter)Good Lovin' (Clark / Resnick)Ship of Fools (Garcia / Hunter)Samson and Delilah (Traditional)

I have been using Reverb LP mostly since I bought a record player a year ago or so. Today I noticed this announcement on their site. Bit bummed. I agree that it is great site to peruse records. Never had any issues when I bought records through the site, either.

2,000 more this time around, I think (22,000 total). Also Dead.net has been having a lot of issue with shipping, which I am sure is putting off a lot of potential purchasers. My copy is scheduled to be shipped this Saturday. Finally got the Garcia Vol. 12 in from my library --- just threw it on - 1st impressions with Expressway - I like it. The vox are indeed a bit all over the place, but Garcia is complementing her nicely. The drums and bass are sounding great.
