Just listened to it via YouTube - quite the workout, indeed.

Would like to see the movie at some point - I was never a big Queen movie, so I never had any desire to see Bohemian Rhapsody. My favorite song of his has always been Burn Down the Mission.

That's great, is he going to meet up with any of the 'old' men and woman of the Northern clan? (I am assuming you are not going tonight)

I just found out that there will be an actual record store opening up within a 3 minute stroll from my home front door.

Eh - I have always had an enjoyable enough time at a Dead & Co show. The tempo's never bothered me, too much and I don't agree that every tune has the same tempo, per se -- but each tune has definitely has been tweaked, tempo wise, but it never seems to me that the band is just going through the motions. That being all said I am skipping the Chicago shows this year. As far a Mayer goes - I am fine with him. He seems earnest and he definitely brings his own self to the gig --- rather than just emulating, which I appreciate. It also helps that my wife dig's the D&C-- she has alway

It's sounds horrible but a nice touch by Phish to open up their 2nd set with Gloria - they were playing in St. Louis last night ---- their second song was the Stone's Loving Cup. https://youtu.be/1bEznEYCh5k?t=133

At first I thought it was going to be this year's box set announcement and I was happy to be saving money this year.... I had friends (who all had tickets) go to this show -- they enjoyed it. Ohio freaked me out, even back then - so I wasn't too upset that I couldn't go, due to work.

Congrats to my friends and the Blues ------- OK, now I can go back to bagging on the Blues.... 'The Blues are gonna Loooooose'

I haven't watch any Stanley Cup games since the Blackhawks were in it -- it has been fun. My friends will be at Game 6 --- really hope they see a win!

Nice packaging. Probably will get the LP set -- since I missed out on the RSD release.

The Cure is great at the non album/b-sides game, too. -
When I am on my Mac and have my hard drive attached, I use Vox and it works fine for me. Actually in the 4 to 5 years that we have had our Mac, i have never used iTunes.

Saw on another board that the 8/1/19 Grateful Dead Movie Meet-up will be 6/17/91 from Giants Stadium. Also:

Yeah - even when the GD were on hiatus in 75, he went on tour with Kingfish. Curious to know if ever went a year without gigging/touring since 65/66.

Thought the same thing about I read about him dipping.

Nice piece on Weir. https://www.gq.com/story/bob-weir-grateful-dead-profile

97 for me and yeah he seemed old. Back then, he did that little one goose step forward and back while doing a guitar solo, which was fun to watch. I will probably catch him when passes through Chicago again, as long as the venue is a good fit. Last time was in 2014. Currently re-listening to the electric set from 5/20/66 from The Live 66 Recordings set. He just dedicated Leopord-Skid Pill-Box Hat to the Taj Mahal (of course) ---- god love 'em....

Dylan's Oh Mercy, too. Personally first time seeing the Stones and the Grateful Dead. Both their 89 tours were great.

Got a day or so in St.Louis what to do?

I never have equate St. Louis with great BBQ - I had two great BBQ meals in Kansas City when I ventured there in 2002 to catch a Wilco show. But, I never had any BBQ while visiting St. Louis. That area does love their pork steaks, though. -

We took our kids up the Arch this past spring break -- they both did great - (6 and 9 year old's). I was fine until my wife pointed out the fact that it was swaying in the high winds (which it is suppose to do). We didn't stay up there very much longer after that statement... The Arch museum and movie is pretty great - OSHA workers watching it must have heart-attacks. -

I have friends who have been Blues' season ticket's holders since the mid 80's - this playoff I have been rooting for them. They were completely robbed last game - definitely a hand pass. Most years I am chanting 'the Blues are gonna loose', just to give them grief - but not this year. -

I kinda agree with Chez -- but if you have kids, the City Museum is a blast - hell, even if you don't have kid's it is a lot of fun. Forest Park is worth a trip. I hate zoos - but if that is your thing, it is a great one. A stroll down Delmar in the Loop may be nice too. Euclid Records and the other various records stores are decent, too. John D. McGurk's Irish Pub and Garden has great corned beef and pours a great Guinness --- it's in Soulard, which is pretty cool neighborhood. Lastly, the Missouri Botanical Garden/Tower Grove Park is a nice visit, too. I would skip Bellevill -
I never knew mushrooms were even on any legal/ballot table in the US - good news.
