My 3 1/2 year old son had some bad nightmares last night and ended up in bed w/ my wife and me from 2:30 AM until wake up. Tonight we sprayed some "monster away" around his bed, left his door cracked, and gave him lots of light in his room but he's still quite agitated. Any advice?

A great movie. Phillipe is wired a little differently than most of us, in a good way. Watching the scenes of him walking across Notre Dame, Sydney Harbor Bridge, and, of course, WTC, made my feet sweat. I was a bit surprised there was no mention of 9/11 in the movie, but that's OK.

I watched Recount last night. It was good. Some bad stuff happened in Fla. in 2000, but I remain convinced that Bush was the legitimate winner. Democrats signed off on the West Palm Beach ballot. Maybe more people there intended to vote for Gore, I remain convinced more people did really vote for Bush.

I'm going to start this. It's marketed as a teen or "young adult" but many English teachers tell me it's one of the best books for kids or adults they've read.

I really liked Betty LaVette singing Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" until Jon Bon Jovi joined her. Ugh.

That, and I still can't get the image of his knee injury during the BCS game out of my head.

I like their album and liked their performance on SNL. I can handle the falsetto in small doses only.
