I'm going to start this. It's marketed as a teen or "young adult" but many English teachers tell me it's one of the best books for kids or adults they've read.

I really liked Betty LaVette singing Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" until Jon Bon Jovi joined her. Ugh.

That, and I still can't get the image of his knee injury during the BCS game out of my head.

I like their album and liked their performance on SNL. I can handle the falsetto in small doses only.

I live in DM and am curious about this show. I like his music, but am not familiar enough with it to shell out the $$. Hoyt Sherman is a beautiful venue. Saw Lyle Lovett's acoustic trio there many years ago.
