A great movie. Phillipe is wired a little differently than most of us, in a good way. Watching the scenes of him walking across Notre Dame, Sydney Harbor Bridge, and, of course, WTC, made my feet sweat. I was a bit surprised there was no mention of 9/11 in the movie, but that's OK.

I watched Recount last night. It was good. Some bad stuff happened in Fla. in 2000, but I remain convinced that Bush was the legitimate winner. Democrats signed off on the West Palm Beach ballot. Maybe more people there intended to vote for Gore, I remain convinced more people did really vote for Bush.

I'm going to start this. It's marketed as a teen or "young adult" but many English teachers tell me it's one of the best books for kids or adults they've read.

I really liked Betty LaVette singing Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" until Jon Bon Jovi joined her. Ugh.
