This is a jazz trio (piano, bass, drums) that plays a lot of rock covers. They are definitely jazz, but sound different from any other trio I've ever heard. My guess is that one of them, or someone else, deserves Kudos for helping this young man write this blog. No insult intended, it's a blog, not homework and I see nothing wrong with it if someone is helping. And it is entirely possible he's writing this on his own. I've just read lots of writing from 12 & 13 year old kids and -- more often than I'd like to admit -- their parents who've "helped" them do their writing. I would be suspicious of writing of this quality were turned in to me.

Grrrr.... The Minneapolis Star Tribune was full of articles about the Vikings loss to the Falcons in the NFC Championship Game 10 years ago this year. Looks like the Vikings decided to relive it, but not make it as close. Go Pack Go! If they beat the Bears we're still division champs.

Strange, I was just thinking as I heard Evenflow on the radio last week that Pearl Jam should re-record that album. There are many excellent songs, but the production is so metallish. I'd like to hear how they'd record those songs now.

I haven't seen that. Watched Little Dieter Needs to Fly. I think it would've been a lot better if I hadn't seen Rescue Dawn first. Dieter Dengler was one amazing human being.
