I am quickly losing the ability to pay attention to this shit. I have called and emailed federal and state lawmakers more in the past 2 weeks than the last 20 years before. I used to be a moderate Republican, but there is no such thing anymore. Supporting Republicans gets you an incredibly radical agenda, Trump or not. Iowa is on the verge of outlawing Medicaid for family planning services excluding abortion.

I'd voted for Bush, my friend hadn't. We both hated those songs, though the rest of the concert was fantastic. Neil Young's Bush protest album also sucked, politics aside, it just plain sucked. I appreciated Tweedy's message. It was delivered with a bit of humor and humility. If others don't like it, you cannot simply assume it's because they disagree politically.
