  1. Just past the halfway point. Not sure I can handle Nixon's administration with this thing.
  2. It's an incredible album. Such a great document!
  3. So do you! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Not waking up for my 5:30 AM workout.
  5. I sure hope you're wrong about the Yankees/Twins tonight, though you probably won't. Win or lose, I hope to really enjoy the game.
  6. Fucking Dalvin Cook! Torn ACL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Vikings, ha! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. My Vikings have 2 top flight QBs with fucked up knees and are in a great position to sign Kaepernick to lead them until Bridgewater can come back. Think they will?? I'm not holding my breath. It's more acceptable in America in 2017 to scar your 4-year-old son's thighs and scrotum with a switch than to sit out the national anthem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Paperback. About 4x6. https://333sound.com/33-13-series/
  10. See now... I liked Let it Be because I think that was a good way to handle the Replacements. They were an intensely personal band to me and reading someone else's experience was fun. I also read Bowie's low. Completely different, entirely about the music, Eno, Iggy, Visconti. A great read too. Funny you should post this yesterday. I just received Workbook in the mail. It's my all-time favorite LP. We'll see how the book is. It appears to be closer to Let it Be with personal reflections and exchanges of emails by the 2 authors.
  11. I've shed some tears today. I always fell squarely on the Bob side, but Grant wrote some phenomenal songs and they both pushed each other to new heights. I saw him play to a crowd of a couple dozen in 2009. His vocals blew me away. Too soon. I'm glad there appeared to be some healing between him and Bob. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Die hard Vikings fan here. I expect another year of mediocrity. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Shit, Lammy, that really sucks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I wish I could agree. Those tiki torch bearers were mostly quite young. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. One of my favorites from the past couple of years.
  16. It should be cool. Not sure how much more can be said about this band, especially with Reed and Morrison gone. I'm sure it'll be a fun one to watch for hardcore fans. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. His stuff showed up on Spotify a few months back. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Hinterland Festival, south of Des Moines. Ryan Adams, Dwight Yoakam, Gary Clark, Jr. for sure. Shakey Graves and Nikki Lane if I get there early enough. Should I?
  19. I feel bad I really don't know the first thing about his plays. The Right Stuff is an all-time favorite movie. I know Lou Reed name-dropped him on "Doin' the Things That We Want To". I never took to reading plays and never recall having the opportunity to see one of his performed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Kelly may impose a modicum of discipline in this administration, but just that. The leader himself is far too undisciplined for Kelly to make much of a difference. I would be shocked if he outlasted Priebus.
  21. Only to polish up for kicking my ass on Song Pop.
  22. I'm with KevinG here. I won't believe Trump's vulnerable to any of this shit (legally or politically) until he's out of office electorally, by impeachment, or resignation. Outside of a few appointments he's made and maybe one or two policy ideas he's discussed everything is just the lowest I have ever seen. This one won't make headlines, but this guy is one of Iowa's biggest dunces. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2017/07/19/trump-just-nominated-a-climate-skeptic-to-usdas-top-science-post/?utm_term=.721161cdaf2e
