  1. I listened to the early stuff quite a bit in college. A great power pop band. RIP.
  2. I mean once tax reform passes, they may be willing to vote to impeach... eventually. Then they can start pumping up Pence and act like they never really liked Trump in the first place. That would be true, the just decided to tolerate him for their own evil ends. Hell, they might even come out against pedophiles serving in the Senate.
  3. I will disagree with the first sentence just a bit. I think the chaos and constant outrage that the Trump administration has created is helping allow this bill slip through because of outrage fatigue. I don't see a Romney or Bush (any Bush) presidency trying something quite this radical. I do think once this tax bill passes or (unlikely) dies in conference, the heat on Trump will increase from Republicans. They're playing it cool for now because they want to minimize the attention on him.
  4. Some interesting versions of previously released songs. The alternate of I Got You definitely dragged a bit in tempo and was robotic in rhythm. Otherwise, I thought they were all strong. The party horn End of the Century was a real rocker, of course.
  5. Donald Fagen should be allowed to own Steely Dan.
  6. A bit off topic twice. Last night: Foo Fighters Tomorrow night: Yawpers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. You may have been on to something, Lammy!
  8. Can you prove you’re not? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Old 97's last night. Their best days in terms of new output seem to be behind them, but they still put on a fun live show. Lily Hiatt opened up. I listened to some of her stuff beforehand. She's good. And, as I realized during the show, John's daughter.
  10. Dear Packers Fans, Sorry for breaking Aaron Rodgers today. Not sorry about beating you, but seriously sorry about Rodgers. Sincerely, Vikings Fan
  11. Just past the halfway point. Not sure I can handle Nixon's administration with this thing.
  12. It's an incredible album. Such a great document!
  13. So do you! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Not waking up for my 5:30 AM workout.
  15. I sure hope you're wrong about the Yankees/Twins tonight, though you probably won't. Win or lose, I hope to really enjoy the game.
  16. Fucking Dalvin Cook! Torn ACL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Vikings, ha! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. My Vikings have 2 top flight QBs with fucked up knees and are in a great position to sign Kaepernick to lead them until Bridgewater can come back. Think they will?? I'm not holding my breath. It's more acceptable in America in 2017 to scar your 4-year-old son's thighs and scrotum with a switch than to sit out the national anthem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Paperback. About 4x6. https://333sound.com/33-13-series/
  20. See now... I liked Let it Be because I think that was a good way to handle the Replacements. They were an intensely personal band to me and reading someone else's experience was fun. I also read Bowie's low. Completely different, entirely about the music, Eno, Iggy, Visconti. A great read too. Funny you should post this yesterday. I just received Workbook in the mail. It's my all-time favorite LP. We'll see how the book is. It appears to be closer to Let it Be with personal reflections and exchanges of emails by the 2 authors.
  21. I've shed some tears today. I always fell squarely on the Bob side, but Grant wrote some phenomenal songs and they both pushed each other to new heights. I saw him play to a crowd of a couple dozen in 2009. His vocals blew me away. Too soon. I'm glad there appeared to be some healing between him and Bob. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Die hard Vikings fan here. I expect another year of mediocrity. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
