Have you heard Iggy's remaster?

Just walked my daughter a block to a friend's house here in Des Moines. On the way home, I noticed she dropped her doll's hairbrush along the way. I ran it back to the friend's house. That extra 90 seconds or so of outside time nearly killed me.

Right..... NOW!

Leaf is probably a bit strong. Time will tell this wisdom of this decision. I'm a Vikings fan, we have quarterback issues well beyond the Bears. Having said that, I am glad to see the Bears hitch their wagon to him.

He's more of a head case than a leader. Talented, but then again, so were Jeff George and Ryan Leaf. He's not as much of a headcase as either of them, but it will be a factor in his success.

Yeah, but maybe not for 5 1/2 years, unless you knew him personally.

That sounds awesome.

Your are an evil,evil man.

I believe you know a helluva lot more than me about sports, but I suspect time will prove you wrong on this one.

Yep, and the WB one aren't much better. It's a shame because it's such fantastic music. Not sure what remastering could accomplish, but it will never happen.

Is there some reason we're mourning his death 5 1/2 years after it happened? I shook his hand once after a show. True story.

I have developed a soft spot for Wrecking Ball due only to this: http://youtu.be/y2PDE47w6Dk

A Thread for Musical Blasphemy you Truly Believe
uncool2pillow replied to hardwood floor's topic in Someone Else's Song
I like good lyrics, but they're certainly not essential. If some mundane lyrics are combined with music that conveys an emotion or feeling, then that's fine. Here's a great clip of Steve Allen poking fun of rock and roll lyrics: They are ridiculous lyrics, but it's a great song. Would that song be enhanced by lyrics from Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, or, say, Robert Frost? No. A song is a whole. If it moves me, it moves me. Some lyrics are worth analyzing, but mostly not. -
I started 11/22/63 a week ago and have about 80 pages left. First King I've ever read. Probably not the last. Damn fun read!

It's okay. It's a forum. A place for back and forth. -

Neil may not be as talented at writing lyrics as Dylan, but he has an incredible knack for combining his music and lyrics for maximum emotional impact. Down by the River, Tonight's the Night, After the Goldrusjh, and I could go on and on. -
I really enjoy Wilco live, but I don't reach the same level of fervor I've reached at other shows. Maybe during Via Chicago. Bob Mould and Richard Thompson solo acoustic have taken me to heights of religious ecstasy numerous times.

Nothing wrong with KIsS. My boy's a big fand and that has turned him on to other hard rock acts. It's a helluva lot better than the Disney schlock his sister likes. But, damn, have you heard Answering Machine?

That Don Draper is one smart motherfucker.

Thank you. Westerberg is a helluva songwriter. I'm too much of a chickenshit to have ever seriously considered ending it all a sateen, but Westerberg told me you're not alone and life can still be fun. I was hoping they'd go in w/ KISS if only to imagine them all doing Black Diamond.
