  6. speaking of adding extras on, i picked up the first melbourne show tickets in person at the venue with cash and they cost 82.50 for the 2nd show, i booked them over the phone by credit card and they cost $90.... looks like ticket retailers are adding 10%
  7. ------- Can we have a board-wise consensus on "What Light" being a liberating, joyful, beautiful masterpiece that's also cornier than Iowa and cheesier than Wisconsin, at the same time? ------- dont about the US geography, but where's the dotted line, i'll sign
  8. not too big on the album version of What light. the higher vocal he used to do when it forst started getting played suit it better. even later versions where the key was dropped, the vocals still sounded good. after hearing those, i think he's wasting his vocal opportunity on the album version
  9. a lot more expensive than last time (from memory it was about $50).. the actual venue they're playing at seems to like charging high prices. however, when i considered i payed AUS$92 to see john fogerty at the same venue last year, it is a bit pricey

  12. during the day i use a public computer and it always remembers my details - unless someone has deleted the cookies. deleting history and internet files still remembers login details
  13. for some reason Lesh has always reminded me of Phil manning, who's an australian blues guitarist. He's in a band called Chain... slight resemblence too!
  14. it was my "formal" introduction to led zeppelin. they used to flog Gallows pole to death on the radio in late '94 and it was the tune that made explore more of zep than stairway, black dog, whole lotta love, ect rest is history
