I was so high I don't even remember half of it.

I have a Tweedy scaring me story; One time I was at a show, and I was really into it. Like, really into it, like, I had this moment wash over me, where I knew everything was right in the world and I just couldn't help myself. So I jumped up the stage, and ran over to him for a hug, but wouldn't you know it, he just punched me in the face. That's some scary shit.

To be honest, as much as I love every other b-side, I'm really not a big fan of this one.

I'd be more inclined to say it's a repaint-- the neck and headstock look a little old to me.

I was really, really worried and frantically hoping I wouldn't have to make up something nice to say. Turns out, you did a really, really nice job. I mean that, seriously. It's wonderfully understated, and I'm really digging the rhythm. As a big fan of Adult Head and as horribly "protective" of everything Jeff ever comes out with, I can say that it's a lot of fun. Also, you've got some sweet, sweet as tunes up on that page, honestly. Big fan. Keep up the good work.

HATE IS A LIKE A SOUL THAT GETS THINGS ACCOMPLISHED

Really? ALTWYS doesn't rip your head open and play with your hungover brain like a child fingerpainting? It's still my favorite, but I'd go to SBS or a low-volume Summerteeth. Maybe I just get really bad hangovers. Or should stop drinking so much I feel like I want to die on the best of mornings.

Jeff actually called me a minute ago just to laugh at you. He said "Yeah, of course it's personal, why else would we have canceled a show? We don't have legitimate reasons, we don' have obligations or anything. Basically, we just choose to upset as many people as possible. We actually don't care about our careers... well, we do when it makes fans angry. PS; VW VW VW VW." Seriously. Getting angry at a band for rescheduling a concert date is ludicrous. Be angry at the situation, sure, be disappointed that's fine. Bitching and moaning like that though just makes you look like a child who does

You can use headphones if you get a quarter inch adapter for about fifty cents.

I'd also check out "New Wave" (the song, not the album) by Against Me! I used to love these guys, but the new album doesn't do it for me. However, I think there's a couple tracks on there, the Title Track for sure, that'll help you accomplish that.

I'd seriously consider The Stage Names by Okkervil River. That might help you out a great deal. Or cop out, and use "Halloween Head" by Ryan Adams. Or just the part where he screams "Guitar solo!" I like to think that song is meta, because if it is, it's acceptably cheesy.

I'm really interested to hear the sounds this thing makes, but I don't know if dropping $300 is the solution just to hear what noises it comes up with. Anyone have any experience with this pedal, or come across anything online (besides Harmony Central)?

I have an Electro 2 and I love it more than I love most things.

Five DVDs, companion soundtrack. In 50 of the packages are golden tickets. The band plays in my living room, and invites me to tour and I publish "It's Just That Simple" the next great novel detailing a mid level band struggling with their own limitations in the harsh face of stardom.

My friend went through a phase where he wanted all his guitars to match-- nice blue finishes. Sounded like a great idea, but as soon as he actually started collecting them, he decided that it wasn't the best plan. It looked neat for a second, but you realize that when they're all different, it's easier for them to adopt their own personalities, which, with instruments that different, you may want to consider. I don't know about you guys, but sometimes (more than I'd like to admit) the asthetics of a guitar reflect how I play it to an extent.

Haha. I'd vote for the white too. But, out of your choices, go for the green. The sunburst is beautiful, but with the shape of the guitar and the new pickguard, it's gonna look even better. Plus, with the strat already in the sunburst, you might as well mix it up a little. Win from Arcade Fire has a surf green Jaguar with a black pickguard, and it's fan-freaking-tastic. Search out a few pictures of that one-- completely different dimension to the look.

I've already hit up the banjo. Dear God. Totally worth it. It's like the best song of your life every time you play it. Try not to stamp your foot like a maniac. I dare you.

I'm so glad someone started this topic. I was just about to buy this thing with the exact same sentiments. Unfortunately, now I won't be buying anything, because I'm a broke-ass and need to buy presents for everyone. Maybe I'll put it on a Christmas list or something

The Weakerthans are quite possibly tied for my place of favorite band, and their live shows are like going to church for people who worship love.
