I know. I'd go back and undo it if I could.

I won't hold that horrific incident against you, Joe. Some of my most beloved male friends have shared tales of their (often stoned) animal abuse histories with me. I think it's a guy thing (and let's hope not exclusive to future serial killers, otherwise I'll probably have to give interviews to countless FBI investigators in the future thanks to the company I keep), to get reckless with small animals. I don't condone it and certainly don't associate with guys who have continued the practice into adulthood but I know there are a lot of men out there who committed similar atrocities in their yo

I've been diggin "God" lately since someone posted a lyric around here. John was a good guy.

RIP, Watt. Nels has dramatically increased in size and Watt stayed rather puny looking, so I suspect he was the fish who spent several minutes on the carpet before I found him and put him back in the water. He shuffled off this mortal coil today. (((Vibes to Nels in his time of loss.)))

Incessant arguing with posters that annoy you thread

Bunch of wankers and liberal coochies, the lot of you. -
Also, I didn't know that PT Anderson and Miranda July were scientologists. Edit: Oh wait, nevermind. Vaginal Davis is a drag queen. I thought someone had actually named their kid that.

I listened to some Dosh while reading The Devil in the White City some and those worked well enough together. The energy in his beats added to the whole intense pressure to get the buildings up, meet deadlines, and everything in the book.

Most of my stuff is in the (ahem, free) download format, but when it comes to buying, I go with vinyl. With new releases, it has to be something really special (like SBS), otherwise I just pick up weird old used shit.

I can't really do both at the same time so well either. If I do have music on while reading, it has to be something instrumental. If someone is singing, I just listen to their words and lose track of what's going on in the book.

We do 360. We were PS people for a really long time and then my partner made the switch to the 360. I don't know what the Xbox Live rates are right off hand, but I believe they are pretty inexpensive. Also, with xbox you can run XBMC, which is rather nifty. There may be similar setups for PS that I just don't know about. (Edit: We have a 360 but we run XBMC on the old Xbox. D'oh!"

We get all of that stuff too, minus the seafood. Mmmmmm...funnel cake! Greasy, fluffy, crispy, and sugary all at once:

Oooooh, I see! I think the whole idea behind the frying anything you can think of craze is that it draws customers in. People try the "weird shit" out of curiosity.

How in the world do they fry Pepsi?! Fair people are crazy with the frying things. I've not tried the fried candy bars they offer up or the twinkies but I did some fried cheesecake at a festival earlier this year. It was a waste of perfectly good cheesecake if you ask me.

Watt and Nels survived the night!

Holy cow. At least the crocodile got a good deal out of it?

Awwwwwww. Poor fish, just because they aren't fluffy and pettable, they lead such dangerous lives.

I rewatched Hud this week. That movie is criminally awesome. I don't have a favorite movie, but if someone put a gun to my head and made me pick one it'd definitely be in the running. So insanely good.

Soooo...my four year old girl-spawn and I spent a while at our town's Fall festival this evening. We had corn dogs and fried pickles (the pickles were under-fried and thus inedible ), made multiple trips to Billy Jack's Root Beer stand, and stocked up on cookies from multiple bake-sale booths. We were having a swell time together and it got even swellier when I noticed a booth set up with ping pong balls to throw into cups to win a goldfish. I've been thinking about getting something manageable (fish, hamsters, hermit crabs, whatevs) for my daughter to keep as a pet, so I saw this as a golde

I think there might be a bong just outside the perimeter of that photo. -
Great job on the site. It's looking good!

Also good for cleaning the shower/tub scum. They really are pretty awesome. I know he didn't invent them or anything, so I'll shut up about them in his memorial thread now.

Aw, RIP. His magic erasers are the best. Great for cleaning white sneakers.
