Money (I swear 90% of my stress could be relieved if I had the dough) I worry about cleaning too. I am conflicted about whether the saying, "A clean house is a sign of a wasted life." is true. I like to let the house go sometimes and tell myself that it's because I'm spending my time on more significant pursuits but then when I do leave the laundry unfolded and the floor unmopped, I live with constant anxiety that someone will come by and judge me by my mess! It's impossible to truly have a clean house when you live with a three year old anyhow. *Worry two could be resolved if worry one was

While half-watching a documentary about Wesley Willis, I have observed a band calling themselves "Vaginal Croutons."

that's some quality clapping right there Edit: Now they should just launch into the full version of Less Than You Think

I'm in Harrison. Definitely overnighting it because my dates (who will be driving) will be drinking...I plan to abstain (a little) because the show will be enough to get me all intoxicated.

"Don't smoke, smoke pot, don't smoke, smoke pot..." Is this how they are saying it here?

Looks like it.

Holy cow! I nearly forgot about this! Boogie time now though....

The version on the Demos has vocals but the song could be entirely reworked on the Amos House disc. So...I guess one must buy it just in case.

It's cool that way because wasn't the fish originally meant as kind of a secret symbol for Christians to identify one another on the down low back when and where they were not a popular group. So with your fish, peeps have to be in the know to get it!

Got a link to buy those? Isn't there a cafepress, maybe? Edit: I think the one fella should reconsider his Wilco forehead tattoo options and go with that.

I've always thought "Jon Cougar Concentration Camp" was a real stand-out band name. Pretty tasteless but really makes one wonder under what circumstances they came up with it* (the case with all of the really freaky band names). *I put my money on that they were smokin'.

Ditto these for me, except for the last one, I've never checked him out...

"Money, money, money, the root of all evil..." I guess there could be some aspect of Ritchie just trying to reclaim some of the dignity he might feel Gordon is taking from the band. Edit: I did too many drugs. Did you do too many drugs too, baaaaby?

There are a lot of really cool stories in this thread but for some reason this had me the most envious!

You can snag it from the YHF demos hosted on Owl & Bear.

Sweet! Sounds like a good idea. Hopefully, I won't end up with my "warm cookie upon arrival" being laced with poisonous chocolate chips.

The Complete Stax/Volt Singles Collections are very good, of course. Pricey to buy but available for download via "the pig." Highly recommend that one if you can snag it. That Sam Cooke 1963 recording previously mention is a must-have. It's sooo good. After hearing it, I go "Okay. I'm good. I can die now. Living long enough to experience that is long enough, if it has to be." That record just really puts you there (brings it on home to you!) and gives you the impression that the energy at that show must have been unbelievable. Edit: Oh yeah, and Wilson Pickett! Edit 2: Al Green is defin

When she requests to listen to a specific record, it's most often "Disco Duck."
