It's a great song, but it sounds just like a minor key melody of side with the seeds to me. It bodes well for the next album that this is only a bonus track.

I think What Light sounds great when you load up two instances of it (streaming from wilco web). At least with my computer you get a slapback type delay that sounds a little retro/psycidelic. I like it, anybody else done this?

I made a compilation of all the up tempo Wilco songs you know, the easy rockers And noticed some similarities between Monday and Can't stand it. Very similar. By the way don't make a compilation of all the Wilco uptempo easy rockers. It doesn't work. Wilco are the masters of sequencing albums.

To me there are a lot of van morrison influences and also some isley brothers but if this is rubber soul then next we can expect Help! becuase they have already done their sargent peppers/yankee hotel no?

more seriously I have analysed Wilcos music more than any other band I have listened to. I don't know why really maybe sometimes I am trying to figure if they are great or rubbish. At the moment I am listening to the stream from Wilco web and am certain that they are great.
