Unreal show tonight. I couldn't keep from thinking how proud they must be to pull that off and how lucky we are to be around to see such a fantastic band at the peak of their powers.

That is so cool to know you met Henry! He has seemed like a really good guy from my few interactions with him while we were putting this t-shirt thing together. I'm glad it has worked out to benefit the fight against the anti-immigration movement.

Joe, if all goes according to plan (and when does it ever, really?) Sandy and I are planning to go over to the Clark for a couple of hours on Thursday, then head over to Mass MoCA to check out the exhibits before closing time. Let's stay in touch.

Diane here, all packed and ready to go. I can barely contain my excitement! For those of you who bought the "We're all in this together...." t-shirts, remember that there will be a group photo on Saturday morning at 10:30 under the WILCO sign in the grassy area. We tried to schedule this at a time when no other activities were going on, so I hope to meet many of you face to face there. There will also be a big banner with a bubble theme for any VC or Facebook members to sign. They all sounded great last night. That seemed to be a very different arrangement of I'm Always in Love,especially at the beginning. And then to come back and just crush it with Monday > Outtasite. Wow! There was a bit of a standing/sitting dilemma for almost the whole first half of the show, but the majority of the crowd finally got to their feet and stayed there after Impossible Germany. I feel like the boys gave it a little extra oomph last night to get those sitters off their asses and into the show!

A while back I posted in here about the option to buy t-shirts like the ones Jeff Tweedy has been wearing lately; they say "We're all in this together. except Trump. he's a dick." I went to one of these things in Norfolk, VA around the time of the Star Wars release, and it happened to be a night when there was a big hurricane watch so the brewery was practically deserted. My friend and I were the only entrants into the giveaways and I ended up with a special edition vinyl Star Wars signed by everyone in the band + 2 tickets to the show at the Norva. Of course I already had the album and show tickets, but I was able to share the wealth.

The Shins tonight. I was faced with the rare dilemma (in lil ol' Norfolk, VA) of having to choose between 2 shows: The Shins and Todd Rundgren. I made my decision based on ticket price and how close the venue is to my house.

I always look forward to seeing you at Solid Sound, Tim, so I'm disappointed too. But better to get the surgery over with and not have to deal with the hassle of rescheduling. I have no doubt there's much more music in your future.
