  1. Lol...thanks! See I was thinking "every move on stage"...hehe
  2. Sitting in the balcony, mezzanine or whatever, definitely gave the show a completely different vibe. It, also, gave a completely different view. Being able to see Glenn so clearly and Mikael more than usual was nice. I did feel, however, that I sort of "lost" Pat even though I was on his side. It was a truly great night that was quite overdue! We got to see a few old friends outside which is always nice. My top favorite moments: Jeff's one-legged solo Glenn's gong show pre-ITMWLY Rock God moment Pat's windmills John's pogo-ing Mikael's 'Easter Bunny' tune Nels' (insert anythi
  3. As someone who was sitting in the front row up there, I found it very hard to stand. I was trying to abide by the rule if no one behind you is standing then stay seated. I stood for 'Thank You' and the encore. Same.
  4. Man! I wish I had seen this BEFORE the show!
  5. K, I'll continue this on FB.
  6. Shut out twice but can listen live at home! Works for ME!!!
  7. We'll be there! I don't know about the area but we were just at Lupo's a few months ago to see Dr Dog. It's a small, intimate venue unlike anything I've ever been able to see Wilco in. It's no Cicero's, Lounge Ax or Double Door but ya know, it'll do...
  8. Yee haw! Is your number still the same? Where are you sitting?
  9. You're coming to Hartford?!?
  10. Aye! And welcome to the VC!
  11. Agreed. VERY weak batch and too much talk about the other crap! I have to keep watching as the girls are...*sigh*
  12. Not so much "out & about" but I did hear Wilco, just not on the radio. The other night, I was checking in on my daughters before I went to bed. The 13-yr old picked her head up a little and said "I found it." I replied, "Found what?" She said back "The Wilco thing. It's over there." Then she rolled over and continued sleeping. Apparently, she had been talking in her sleep. I got a HUGE kick out of it as did both the girls when I told them about it the next morning.
  13. This for almost a year and a half now. All thanks to some very kind Wilco-minded (strangers at the time) friends!
  14. I, seriously, think I'm going to be ill. We've had the same pediatricians since before my 1st daughter was actually born. I never left them alone with a doctor or nurse and all are female but I STILL wouldn't. This past year my oldest one turned 13 and now they say the annual visit needs to be one-on-one, I'm assuming because she might not want to discuss stuff in front of me that she would with them. I am always in the next room with her sister, tho, as I always plan their annual physicals together. All sick visits, I stay in the room. This makes me so sick. And a 3-month old even?!? What
  15. None more than Wilco, not now and more than likely not ever.
  16. Merrick Section "Merrick Section's music is a roomy brand of Americana rock, easygoing but polished. It's got pop hooks, but an expansive musical sense..." www.myspace.com/merricksection
  17. I love mine, too! My mother bought me another blue sweatshirt in an attempt to get me to stop wearing it. (Didn't work.) And my ex-husband refers to it as my "uniform" to piss me off. So I MAKE SURE I wear it EVERY TIME I see him!
  18. I'm A Wheel on the house system at Lupo's in Providence Friday night while waiting to see Dr Dog!!!
