  1. 4 from Western MA (well, I'm really Central MA), 2 from Boston and 3 from Indiana. Four of us (myself included) are staying at some B&B in Williamstown. (I forget the name as I did not make the reservation.) I do not know where my Indiana friends are staying.
  2. I saw this post and was looking to click on the "Like" button! Doh!!!
  3. Thanks for posting! Definitely need to re-watch it at some point! "Too lazy or too stoned..."
  4. Ditto. Where I work I swear I am the ONLY ONE who does NOT smoke. Not only do they all go outside 1000 times per shift but they throw their nastiness all around. Sorry, it's disgusting and I can't stand it. When the snow melted away this year...oh my Lord!!! Blech!!! But again, thank you, to those who throw them away!
  5. Watching 'America's Funniest Home Videos' with my daughters. We all actually get bummed when it's NOT on! Their laughter makes it SOOO much better! (P.S. So does Tom Bergeron! His jokes aren't NEARLY as lame as Bob Saget's were!)
  6. "That lay between the words I think on a page I was meaning to send to" My almost 14 year old has INSISTED for years that Jeff is saying "b$tch" not "page". No, we don't talk like this in my house but no matter how many times her sister and I explain that it doesn't make any sense, she won't budge. I'm pretty sure it's just a game now The 1st time she "heard" it, she said "MOMMA!!!" like it was MY fault! Kids!...lol
  7. The open dislike for HMD here has always made me a little sad, but "Hey, to each his own.", right?!? I like HMD for making me dance and Reservations for making me feel. HMD used to be a pretty cool song to me and now I love it for I "fell in love with a drummer" for real. So cheezy or not liked by many, I TOTALLY DIG IT!!!
  8. I am turning 40 in less than a month, as well. I know I don't feel it, I CERTAINLY don't ACT it, nor do I look it (at least that's what I gather from all the "nu-uh"'s I get when I tell people...lol). This past year for me has been the best in about 10 years for all sorts of reasons, so it's "all good"! So I agree with the rest of the crew, revel in the fact that you're alive and healthy and happy (I hope)!!!
  9. I have ALWAYS loved the videos from this show. They always make me happy and sad. Happy for their youth and how much fun they had and how loose they were. Sad because I didn't know them until WAAAY later...
  10. I missed them on the retrospective but it's okay with me since I was there live when they performed. The cool part of the retrospective for me... When I walked into work the next morning, this waitress I hardly EVER see came RUNNING up to me yelling about Wilco!...lol "Ellen, Ellen, I saw them, I wouldn't have paid attention if it wasn't for YOU! OMG! It was INCREDIBLE!" Guess, she might be hooked And, the BEST part...she said, "So you KNOW them?"...lol...I told her no and re-explained. SOOO glad she dug it, tho!
  11. Love it all! Favorite is DEFINITELY Radio King! Pecan Pie is adorable and I've gotten a few friends to listen to more of Tweedy/Wilco because of it
  12. I just found out this afternoon that my bestest Wilco friend of 5 years (met over a myspace Wilco group), her brother and sister-in-law are driving in from Indiana for the show!!! We've only hung out once before in Chicago for about 6 hours. Woohoo!!!
  13. Sorry I'm missing it. Oh and... Hi!
  14. In one of the many articles I've read in the past week, I read "Wilco will play in some capacity on Sunday." That was all at the time.
  15. I think these were my 11th & 12th Wilco shows. I have ALWAYS been VERY appreciative of EVERYTHING Jeff & Co. has thrown our way. These shows were great! I was very happy to hear the tunes that I had never heard live before, 'That's Not the Issue' and 'Boxful of Letters' just to name a couple. I was at Providence and Hartford. I thought they were in particularly rare and wonderful form in Hartford. I am very thankful for the low-cost tickets, many shows in my local area, their incredible talent that we are so lucky to be witness to, for their music bringing me to my love (TRUE
  16. Apparently, so! Were you the guy w/ three teenage girls or were you one of the two couples that came together? I didn't really see the group way to the left.
  17. I think we were two rows behind. I saw two little girls in mint green-ish sweatshirts and found them ABSOLUTELY adorable! I hope they enjoyed the show as much as we all did!
  18. For the person (EDIT: faxman75) who was wondering what days Wilco will play, it says here TENTATIVELY Sat & Sun.
  19. Just got on, owed my girls some "cuddle time". Sorry to see I missed ALTWYS.
