I am now starting to wonder, with how fast the tickets sold out for this thing, how much I could get on ebay for the two 9th row center tickets I've got... I know that's an awful thought, but I'm in a major job transition and may be desperate for funds in September. Is it worth giving up the Wilco?

I'd kill just to hear them bust out anything older than Being There material. It's been a long time. Perhaps a "Box Full Of Letters" or "We've Been Had." How about a full band "Gun?"

It's a snoozer on the album and the first song since "My Darling" I skip with a religious fervor.

I've just always assumed I'm one of the only ones who liked Make Your Mama Proud. "Emily" (and the bassline therein) is an amazing tune and worthy of purchasing the album by itself. And the screen name was a random thought maybe 8 or 9 years ago. It's just stuck... I've never heard anything by Television other than Marquee Moon so I can't make a statement on that album being their only good one. But it would be nearly impossible for any album to be even half as good as that. Just hands-down one of the best albums ever front to back.

They're still one of my favorites (albeit more of a guilty pleasure). The follow up to All The Pain Money Can Buy (Harsh Light Of Day) was really good though.

One good album, one great album in each case IMO. As for Oasis, I'll take What's The Story and Be Here Now. I have generally weeded out my collection to where I only keep albums where the artist releases more than one good album. It's rare that I find an artist where I like one album only and keep it around. And I'm too lazy to find those right now as I've gotta be running to work.

Spiders has evolved (or maybe devolved) for me into a song I'd really prefer not to hear live again. At first I enjoyed it (early on in the AGIB tour), but now I'm really quite tired of it and would much rather hear 2 or 3 shorter songs played (as many people stated on VC during the AGIB tour). For me it's "Side With The Seeds" hands down. Nels' performance leaves me just smiling and in shock at the same time. Brilliant.

Yeah I still watch the reruns on TV all the time and am waiting for the prices on the DVDs to come down a bit. I already collect a buncha shows on DVD so I've gotta be a little selective. Shows I'm currently collecting: Everybody Loves Raymond Seinfeld That '70s Show Drew Carey Show Aqua Teen Hunger Force Family Guy South Park Law & Order Not to mention I keep putting off getting Arrested Development season 2. Home Improvement is coming up when some of those other shows finish putting out their DVDs.

I am totally in love with this album. Without looking too much into every album in music history, I get the feeling that "Black Like Me" may be the best closing track ever. Really, the only thing keeping it from being a perfect album in my mind is "The Ghost Of You Lingers" and "Eddie's Raga." I like them both, but am not really sold on 'em. The fact that it's only the 10 songs and has that "get in, get out" feel to it leaves me begging for just one more song at the end. And hey Spoon fans...Mark your calendar (Tivo, whatever) for next Wednesday night (July 11th). They're on Letterman.

Froggie posts about possible Zeppelin Reunion shows... PigSooie posts about a Spice Girls Reunion tour... I don't wanna pass judgment on anyone, but... Just playing, but seriously...are they serious? The way they announced it and everything, you'd swear they were on par with the Stones.

No one's mentioning that Wishful Thinking somehow found its way back in too. Pretty killer. I continue to grow more and more jealous at you east coast folks who get to see these shows.

Welcome to NYC, eh? Sounds like an awful crowd. When I attended back-to-back nights in Cincy and Indy earlier this month there was a definite difference in the crowd from one night to the next as well. Sounds kinda like what you guys in the NJ/NY area experienced although, in your case, to a greater extreme. That's always a bummer. On the bright side, the sets are looking great and I'm still pissed I didn't hear I'm A Wheel either night as pretty much everyone else on this tour has gotten that tune in the encores.

Greatest MTV Unplugged performance EVER. Actually, I still can't believe how downright bad it is. If there was ever a reason NOT to bring unplugged back (a counter to Clapton and Nirvana, if you will) that video is it.

If that's the entire lineup, it would be the only festival I've seen in recent memory where I have no desire to see any other act than Wilco (although the Black Crowes aren't bad).

In terms of just the absolute overall sound and feel of the albums, I rank them as follows: March 16-20 (Farrar is still extremely strong and Tweedy is really started to hit his groove) Anodyne (Farrar/Tweedy equals--no wonder it ends here) Still Feel Gone No Depression In terms of how often I listen to each of them: Still Feel Gone Anodyne March 16-20 No Depression I play the bass along with plenty of songs on each album, but I find myself playing "Gun," "Nothing," "Cold Shoulder," and "Postcard" off Still Feel Gone the most. And continually praying for "We've Been Had" at concerts...

I am insanely jealous. I saw them in Cincy and Indy last week and didn't get to hear my beloved I'm A Wheel (the live version is beloved, not so much the album version). The venues also had curfews each night that limited the shows to 20 songs a piece. I looks like you guys got more than 25. Looks like it's time to move again.
