Is the Cutler deal good for the Bears?

70 minutes of ZZ Top seems about right. Maybe too much even...

It also comes in a flat leaf version...

oh.

imdb disagrees with you. No Jeff Tweedy listed in the fans/cameramen credits.

A Thread for Musical Blasphemy you Truly Believe
Winston Legthigh replied to hardwood floor's topic in Someone Else's Song
I had thought that he hit his low point with Hearts and Bones, which came out in 83. That would have been the most recent album before Graceland, and probably is the one Steve Berlin was thinking of. At least, One Trick Pony had "Late in the Evening"... -
I only know her from the 2nd disc of the Talking Heads - The Name of this Band Is...

A Thread for Musical Blasphemy you Truly Believe
Winston Legthigh replied to hardwood floor's topic in Someone Else's Song
I think that Los Lobos went into the studio with Paul with the understanding that they would be his backing band on a song. When they got to the studio, Paul didn't have a song after all, and asked them to "jam" something out. They said they didn't work that way, and so the next day, in order to get out of the studio, they trotted out a song they were working on, but hadn't recorded yet. The next thing they knew - the album came out with the song and they had no writing credits. The whole story, (well at least the whole story according to Steve Berlin) is here. -
Great work, as always.

The first thing I would do is quit my job and buy a ticket to Monte Carlo. I would put my family up in a lux hotel nearby on Cap Ferrat, and then I would head to the casino. Having 10 minutes of foresight, I would place a sizable bet on the roulette table, to win enough for us to live comfortably for the next few months. We would travel to our heart's content, settling down somewhere in Italy so I could take some cooking classes. Since I don't have to sleep anymore (invincibility), I would read read read, practice violin, and exercise at night to get into prime condition. Whenever I would need

That night I'll be going to Schubas to see the annual Waco Bros holiday spectacular. -
Hard to justify keeping out one of the highest selling acts of all time.

Does Jeff Tweedy ever mention me?

With lemon and oregano? -
Definitely. Kiss Platinum was the first album I bought with my own (gift) money. Edit: DOUBLE Platinum. Boom.

Butter? yes. Margarine? nasty

I completely agree with that notion. And thanks for posting that Atlantic article, Speed Draper. It was a good read.

That letter is a diplomatic plea to Hitler to stop the persecution of Catholics within Germany. There's many public denunciations by the Vatican over Nazi Germany, and there's many examples of Catholic Priests participating in the German resistance.

The Vatican apologized for inaction over the holocaust. They didn't support the Nazis

Sources please.

People think it was a violation because they think any form of censorship = first amendment violation.

I wasn't keen on the idea, but the first time I tried it, it was spectacular indeed.

Teen suspended for 1 year for hugging teacher
Winston Legthigh replied to Atticus's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
A simple way to see if someone is receptive to an offered hug? Hold out your arms in pre-hug position. If they make the same gesture, go for it. If not, you've entered the no-hug zone.
