great idea- my seven year old daughter Maggie and I are walking 5 miles for march of dimes in harrisburg, PA on 5/2. Her fundraising goal is $250! If anyone else is walking this, drop me a line her home page is: http://www.marchforbabies.org/mags1227 Thanks! dave -
Curious: Has anyone ever done a march madness style wilco song bracket tournament? We could seed the wilco songs in four differnt #1-16 brackets (Live/ Bsides/ Electric/ acoustic????? off the top of my head) and then vote it out. a mammoth concept, of course, i'm just an idea guy, not sure how we could actually pull it off..

As a lifelong Eagles fan, my feelings are mixed. Donovan has been much maligned in Philly. i don't understand it; he puts up great numbers, seems to be a high character kind of guy, plays waaaay hurt, and is a competitor. So he never won a Super Bowl (yet) - join the crowd..... I think it was time for a change and wish him well. i'm glad he wasn't sent to buffalo or oakland- he deserves better than that, but Washington??? Not worried as an eagles fan, I just won't want to see him twice a year representing that horrible, embarrassing franchise and owner. not to mention the fact they have no/

A sweet night in a surprisingly (Scranton- who knew) cool venue. On the Pat side, crowd very attentive and quiet for the most part. The band seemed to be having a fine time, too. About the talkers, so what, not alot can be done about those knuckleheads!!!! I thought the sound was pretty spot on. The setlist just would not quit. i had a thought midway through the show- Wilco is alot like a jamband, but with a sense of consideration for their audience- no noodling, always with a firm sense of musical direction in place. Overall a great night, and well worth the 2.5 drive home to York, PA.

1. First Concert, when? Kix at the strand capitol theater in York, PA. And, yes, I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. 2. First Concert you really wanted to go to and did? Grateful dead 6/23/84 City Island, harrisburg, PA. unfortunately my girlfriend got real sick, and we left before the second set. god, tht hurts 3. Favorite Band? dead 4. How Many Times have you seen them? maybe 80? 5. Worst concert you attended? The fixx at shippensburg University. i was a freshman. it was on campus. I let some guy I met in the dorms procure the necessary pre-party beverages. He got a b

Haa! I was cleaning my garage on sunday, came across "the tapes", funky artwork intact and uneven quality recordings is what makes them mine maybe a little more dust than last time.....just had to find another space for 'em,hell, i'll never throw 'em out.

Whipping Post. Soul Serenade. Jungleland (Clarenc could extend that solo!) Not sure I agree with Sad eyed- although I'm a huge Dylan fan, that one has always dragggggggged to me. -

Fact: Sparky Lyle has been known to sit naked on birthday cakes for both the amusement of himself and those around him. You can look it up.

Actually, I think this is a pretty valid topic for a thread. I'll probably never listen to Autumnteeth the same way now.
